1st round of clomid! Cd15 follicle 19mm can anyone help me with ovulation testing

Iv just done one and the line is non existent.

What do I look for? If my follicle is 19mm when am I likely to get my ph surge?

Unfortunately, we can’t tell you when you will ovulate based on this information. It should be soon, but everyone is different. Keep using your opks every day around 10am-2pm (unless your using the purple clear blue advanced opks). You should get a positive opk, but some people do not ever get a positive opk while on Clomid.

Another option is to BD every 4 days starting today. For example, BD today Wednesday, then Saturday, then Tuesday, etc. until your AF starts. This way, you won’t have to rely on opks to have your attempt.

Thank you for your reply I will indeed try this. My husband hasn't got brilliant sperm he has 80% are of bad motility. Would you still recommend every 4 days?

Hmmm. I️ am inclined to say yes to every 4 days for now. Atomic will come on and give her recommendation based on your DH’s sperm motility. It’s possible you may need more attempts just to get pregnant.

Definitely have an attempt now, and we should come up with a plan on how many more soon.

I have another question about opk test. I did two yesterday they were super faint. Today Iv done the two at recommended times and they were completely negative no second line? Should I contact my clinic? My follicle yesterday was 19mm and my doc suggested I should ovulate any time from yesterday till the weekend. Shouldn't the opk start to pick up my surge?

Sometimes the hormone just doesn't make it out into your urine in a high enough concentration to make the tests go positive.

Update I had a positive today so we dtd this morning

Would you have me on every 4 days even thou my husband has only 20%motility out of his sperm? Dtd this morning at positive opk when should I do it again?

Yes, I still want you on every 4 days after that attempt, that way if it was a false positive you'll still be covered in case of delayed ov.
