I’ve been using the clear blue OPK for 3 months now, I have a 24-26 day cycle. I tested on day 9 and had low fertility, day 10 morning I had high fertility (flashing face) and by that evening I had peak fertility (solid smiley).
I thought I would have the flashing smiley face for several days but this has been consistent with the 3 months of tracking-high to peak fertility within hours. We are trying to conceive a girl for our 5th and final baby.

That is not unusual with the Clearblues, even tho it says in their directions that you'll get 2 days of high before peak, it's not at all uncommon to have 1 day or a few hours oreven go straight to peak with no high readings at all.
I would just treat it like a regular OPK - when u get that peak reading, have attempt, even if you haven't had days of warning in advance

Nope, there's no correlation between the length of your detectable surge and your fertility. If anything, the opposite is sometimes true - women who get positive OPK for many many days often have PCOS and have trouble conceiving because of that. :)
