Fasted Cardio?
Hi all,
Just wondering how everyone feels about fasted cardio. Fasted cardio means I would do my workout in the morning before lunch (without eating breakfast). From what I can gather from the exercise recommendations for ttc a girl is that you should work out for an hour so that your body works through all the available carbs/glucose available, then starts using your fat.. But if I'm working out before eating anything, then I wouldn't have much in terms of carb energy in the first place.

That's how I do my exercise- I have two coffees in the am then cardio for an hour and then eat lunch 1-2 hours after exercise. I will also have a Diet Coke and water to get me through to Lunch.
Hoping this works for me this time. My sway opposite I did no exercise just fasted until 12 everyday.

This is very specifically how I exercised before conceiving my DD. If you do it first thing in the morning, you shouldn't notice too much of an issue; many people in the fitness community work out fasted because of the efficiency of burning fat that way.

I don't think it matters that much really and we also don't know why the exercise sways pink anyway, just that it does. IMO I think just doing the cardio is good for pink. Atomic has said she just doesn't want someone eating right before and after exercising. I always just worked out whenever I had the opportunity to (usually afternoon) so do what works for you.

That is exactly what I did when I swayed and got my DD..I would have my coffee in the morning then hit the treadmill at 9-10 ish then shower and then get lunch going for my boys, then I would eat when they went down for naps at 12ish!
