Hello,
I am scheduled to go through my first IUI this cycle. I am at CD1. CD 3 is when I am supposed to start my Clomid 150mg. I have tried with Letrol 7.5+Trigger shot for last 4 cycles and got BFNs, and RE thinks we should go for IUI, and now scheduled for the week of Feb 5th. My question is, I have a 5 year old girl, I would love to have a boy. Does clomid will sway girl with IUI? I am ok with that, but it would be nice to have a boy. How can I try to sway boy at this point?

Hi Frozen! I am currently going through the same thing! My RE wants me on all the same Meds as you except 100mg of clomid instead. I am trying sway boy too after two DD’s. Atomic says that usually clomid does sway girl and that IUI usually sways boy. So kind of a mixed bag you have going on there. Atomic will get back to you just have to give her a couple of days sometimes. Also, every time you post it takes her longer to get back to you cause the post gets set back to the end of the line so to speak. Please let me know how your journey goes with this. I hope you get your BFP on your first round of IUI.
It sometimes takes me a few days to get through all the posts in the free forum. If you bump your post, it actually makes it take longer because it goes to the top of my "new" posts and I answer from oldest to newest.
We don't know if IUI (sways a little blue) or Clomid is a stronger sway. What I DO know is that our good results with Clomid are with pink sways!! Clomid on its own, without a pink diet, probably only sways a little bit. If you're doing blue friendly diet and exercise, taking prenatals, and having hubby do regular release and stop smoking, you can still have a good blue sway on Clomid + IUI.
