Olive Leaf Extract - dosage confusion!

I just wondered if any UK ladies could offer any advice on OLE dosage as I am confused by the variation in strength that seems to be available! Ideally I want to find a one a day strength as I struggle to get him to take tablets even if he's got toothache! I've found one that says 66mg of Oleuropein and 3.5g of OLE in each capsule but couldn't find any reference to that dosage in any of the threads I've read on here....although I've probably missed loads.

Could anybody tell me what dosage they used and if dh had any side effects? I only ask that because mine has quite low blood pressure anyway (still in normal range though) and has a very physical job so worried about his bp and blood sugar as he often doesn't eat enough in the day! Probably just fretting but don't want him to end up with no energy to put our plan into action lol :-)

Yes some of the OLE's are sooo different and we can't get a straight answer as to how they correspond with each other.

Can you find any that say "500 mg" or "1000 mg"? That's what we usually use.

OR, get a liquid one (these may be more effective anyway) and follow the dosing guideline on the bottle. The liquids all have their own formulation.

There are these really high dose ones that are meant for health crises and people take them only for a couple days as a kind of antibiotic. I suspect that's what you have there 3.5 g = 3500 mg and this is what we've seen in the high dose formulas. I would not want to give him that much day in and day out, I'd try to find a lower dose one if at all possible.
