When should I take my temp if I don't have normal sleep schedule? Should I wait til I establish one?
So Hubby and I decided to put off trying for a bit while I gain weight so I'm within healthy range since I still haven't even breached 100lbs. Now I've decided to start charting (hoping it'll give me a much better chance when we try again in October because I want a July baby).
My question is, when should I be taking my temperature if I don't sleep at the same time or wake at the same time every day?
A month ago I was waking early morning and sleeping early evening (when I was working). Then I started waking in the afternoon and going to sleep around 2am. Now I've been waking in the late evening (today I woke at 9pm) and going to sleep after watching movies all night (it's now 5am and I'm still awake). I have depression and an unidentifiable illness (doctors have been no help) that makes me so dang sleepy and sick sometimes. Last month after losing my job I had vomiting and diarrhea that landed me in the hospital again (this has been ongoing since I was a senior in high school, once I went 2 years without incident and once it reoccurred at least once a month for a year with me ending up almost dying of severe dehydration the week of my birthday (my husband found me unconscious on the bathroom floor), so I never know when it will happen or why).
Also I think I have what's considered irregular periods. For example my Ovia app says my 2017 period calendar goes like this (this doesn't include days that I have spotting which can be before and after the main period:
January (Dec 30 - Jan 2)
February (Feb 1 - 4)
March (Feb 28 - Mar 3)
April (Apr 3 - 5)
May (May 6 - 8)
June (Jun 8 - 10)
July (Jul 9 - 12)
August (Aug 8 - 11)
September (Sep 12 - 16)
October (Oct 15 - 17)
November (Nov 20 - 23)
December (Dec 20 - 22)
So far this year 2018:
Jan (Jan 19 - 21)
Feb (Feb 18 - 21)
So as you can see it's all over the place. How am I supposed to know when I ovulate? Will the BBT help?
In the near future I plan on making a more rigid schedule of sleep/wake times so it should be easier to track I hope. I plan on setting my schedule where I wake at 6am every day and go to sleep at 10pm. That's what everyone normal does right?
