Nub 13w4d

Hi,

yesterday I had my NT scan, measuring 13w4d. I really don't get this nub theory and I have some troubles to identify it on the photo.

I would really appreaciate your help - I'm posting 2 scan photos.

I also had a blood NIPT test at 10w3d and I got a girl result, but somehow I'm affraid to believe it...I'm really hoping for a girl...

Please, try to not consider the NIPT result and guess just based on the nub..

Nub looks all girl to me!

Looks girly to me to and if the NIPT said girl, believe it!

See how long that nubbin is?? That is ALLLL girl. :) I remember looking at my 13 w 5 day ultrasound with my daughter and seeing that and thinking "OMG it's a girl, I have never seen something that looks like that in my whole entire life LOL"

To be honest I have my doubts that that long thing is even a nub...isn't it tooo long? My OB that did the scan doesn't do the nub thing, he just did a potty shot and said that if NIPT said is a girl that thing between the legs is a clitoris...and that made me even more worried.

I probably won't find peace till this baby is born...

The NIPT test is almost 100% accurate for girls and the nub is all girl. I would stop worrying if I were you!

Why did that make you more worried?? NIPT is better than ultrasound!

NO, it's not too long. You're seeing the VJ inner and outer on that. That is EXACTLY what I saw on the screen with my daughter 110% the moment is burned into my brain LOL because after 4 boys I had never seen that weird long thing and when I did see it I was like OMG this is a girl!! :) :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Ok, I'm crazy I know...I guess I cannot believe it. I'm so afraid to really start to be happy about having a daughter and then BUM to see a winky on the screen.

I really have a phobia about my scan appointments. I should go sedated to my atonomy scan in April :)
