energy drinks
A friend of mine has 2 girls and desperately wants a boy. I have a DS and want a girl, so we compare a lot of how we got our LO's. She drinks at least one rockstar energy drink a day, sometimes 2-3. (There are no calories and sugar in the ones she gets but a LOT of caffiene!) I never drink them but was thinking about adding them to my diet. Do you think they sway, and if so, why?
All you girl moms--did you drink energy drinks? Any boy moms drink energy drinks and still get blue?

I did yes! I drank sugar free V or sugar free redbull. Always was sugar free ones though! I would have 1-2 a day PLUS coffee inbetween lol.

There is this big debate over coffee--I always thought it was the caffiene. Some say it sways boy, but I think that's because it blocks calcium absorption. I am not too concerned about that though since I am taking 1200 mg and I don't think it sways too much anyway. Then there are all the antioxidants in coffee, so that's not good if you're doing the LE diet, but there isn't anything really nutritous about energy drinks LOL.
Is there aspertame in energy drinks? That gives me headaches. So I can't drink a lot of CL or even diet coke. Thinking maybe energy drinks could be something to add to my diet to help sway.

Oh and I drank Coke Zero too!

My experience has been that guys who drink a lot of energy drinks have a LOT more daughters. I don't know any woman IRL who drinks them much.
My fear with the energy drinks for you, Carmella, is a lot of them are highly vitamin-fortified. I personally am inclined to think high caffeine intake = more daughters, but I would rather see you get that caff from coffee or even soda (non-aspartame, of course). But still, what you say about energy drinks not having antioxidants does make some sense as well.
You have to check the labels on the energy drinks if you do decide to go that way, because some of them have aspartame and some don't.

Well then my DH's pepsi addiction might actually be helpful! I had always heard that caffeine sways boy, for both DW and DH. I have not every drank energy drinks, so I will have to look into the vitamins. I didn't know they had vitamins, just thought it was pure caffeine, LOL. I absolutely LOVE coffee but I thought all the antioxidants would sway blue, so I had cut it out of my sway. The rockstar drinks that I found just have a lot of vitamin B, no other vitamins. Does B sway?

I don't drink energy drinks and never have. I do drink coke zero

Soda looks like the way to go lol

All nutrients prob. sway blue a little bit, but I do think your body can shake most of them off LOL.
Protein, fat, and cals are the big things to cut back on.
