Men definitely have some input in the gender. We find it's much more up to the mother (after all, you're the one who has to carry a baby, then take care of it for several years after) but the thing is, most of our husbands would do absolutely nothing to sway and if your husband believing he has more control over the baby's gender than you do makes him do some diet and exercise stuff to help, this is one of those times where we just let the other person be wrong LOL.
You still do your end of the sway. What he's doing will only help, so don't worry if he thinks it's all on him, if the outcome is that you have a better sway for it. :)
