800mcg folate in prenatal plus 1000mcg folate....

My prenatal has 800mcg folate and I’ve been taking 1000mcg folate before. Is it too much folate to be taking both together?

I have the blue swayers take 2000 mcg a day and many of us who have a history of babies with neural tube defects take 4000-5000. I believe it is fine and safe to do that (and in fact I took the higher amount twice because I had a baby with an NTD) your body will just excrete the excess.
