Newbie! Swaying for a boy! With a question! Please answer!

I am so happy I found this site! I am a 35 year old mother of two BEAUTIFUL daughters ages 14 and 9! I am currently living in Hawaii, however, will be moving to Washington DC in August! My husband (35) are looking to have one more to at conception and I am hoping for a boy! I plan on purchasing the plan from here and I’m excited about what is to come! I am currently on the Mirena and am looking to remove it as soon as I get to DC. Do you think o should start my sway after removal or before. Also, my husband I very fertile! We get pregnant on our first try EVERY TIME! So I am looking for advice on how to NOT get pregnant before at least 6 months into my sway!

I think you should start doing the diet right away without gaining weight, start weight training, take supplements for you and DH and have him quit smoking if he is, or cut back if he's not willing to quit outright) Then, about 12 weeks before you plan to TTC, you can start the full on HE Diet at that point so as not to gain too much weight. No need to do full on HE Diet longer than 12 weeks (or even 6, some people only do 6 weeks)

I would have the Mirena out as far in advance as is feasible as the residue from the Mirena may sway slightly pink and we want to give it time to leave your body. You'll have to use other methods of birth control in the meantime, just like any couple who doesn't have a Mirena - condoms, pullout, sponge, diaphragm, any short term barrier form of conception will work. Condoms are probably most reliable.
