Clomid - and low sperm count

Hello Atomic,

we TTC last year - but we never got any BFP.
That was a biiiiig disappointment, so we took a few months break.

This year we are trying again.
A few weeks ago my husband had a spermiogram and unfortunately he has a very low sperm count.

Today I am on CD8 - and I took Clomid on CD3-7.
(Background: We have two adorable Boys and we TTC for a girl. My cyclus is very normal and I took the Clomid for your pink wish.)

Can you please help us?
What should we do? Do you have more informations about BD, frequenzy,... with low sperm count and clomifen?

I want you guys to have unprotected sex every 4 days (count this every 72 hours or the "Monday/Thursday" pattern, not those days per se, but that is how you count the days.) Start this right away and continue on all month even after you think you have ovulated. Then, in addition to that, use OPK tests to determine when you have your surge, and have one more attempt whenever that falls, while continuing with the e4d pattern at the same time.

Do not do shallow release and stay laying down for 30 minutes or more after intercourse.

If you want to boost odds of conception still further we can add in a female O for you. We could even do soemthing like Preseed and/or guaifenesin but I think you should try with what we already suggested for a couple months before we do that.

Hi fubu! Hier dass gleiche zwei jungs un verdacht auf slechte Spermien von DH nächste monat hat mein mann auch ein spermiogramm weil bei mir alles stimmt. Ich habe selber auch clomid genommen.

We will follow your advice. To be sure: we have BD e4d plus one, if the OPK is positive. That means, for example, CD8, CD11, CD14, ... If, for example, the opk is positive on CD13 we bd CD11, CD13, CD16 ... Is that correctly?

es ist sehr enttäuschend, alles für den Wunsch zu tun und keinen BFP zu bekommen. Ich kenne das nur zu gut und habe ein paar Monate Pause gebraucht. Warum muss Dein Mann so lange auf das Spermiogramm warten? Wie lange hast Du denn Clomifen genommen? Versucht ihr es aktuell weiter?

Yes that's the right way to count the e4d but I don't want you to reset the e4d after the pos OPK attempt.

So you'd have attempt CD 11, CD 13 (pos OPK) CD 14 (because this is when the e4d was due), CD 17 and then keep going until you are 10000% sure you've ovulated even if you go all the way till your period begins.

This will be best odds of conception for you guys given your husband's sperm test results.

Wir haben auch alles versucht um die Fruchtbarkeit zu erhöhen. Habe jede Zyklus am cd11,13,14 geübt und dann weitere e4days aber es hat niks gebracht. Es ist sehr schwer und habe nicht viel geduld. Ich habe 3 Zyklen clomid genommen jetzt zwei ohne clomid und ja wir versuchen es jeden Monat non stop weiter weil mein mann ist auch shon 43. wann versucht ihr wieder?
