Stupid, stupid, stupid....

SO we decided not to attempt this cycle. The main reason is that I screwed up and didn't follow diet, supps, etc for the 2WW last cycle, because I was certain I conceived. Anyway, so I have been doing better since AF, but I haven't been doing the BSD, and I ran out of gelatin the other day so I haven't done that in a few days. Finally, several internet psychics have told me I would have a girl in August, so I was leery of TTC in a month that would produce a girl in August (my due date would be Aug 12).

So I just checked the lunar calender and I am going to O in a male sign. That makes me want to try now! But DH hasn't abstained for more than 2 days, I am not sure what he did before that (may have released many days in a row, as is his habit).

I guess what I am wondering is, is it stupider to TTC because of a moon sign, or stupider to NOT TTC because of psychics? My opks are fading in now, and will be positive tomorrow most likely, so I need to decide this tonight.:nails:

To wait until December. I just don't feel prepared this month...But I feel like I can't really trust my gut. I am always feeling like I made the wrong choice! You should see me trying to decide on what to eat at a restaurant. I make my husband crazy. :oops:

Play out both senarios in your mind , then try to imagine any regrets you may have about your sway. Personally i am preparing everything i can for December so that if i do fall pregnant i wont have those niggling thoughts about what i did or didnt do. I will be able to say i did everything in my power to get my boy, if it turns out to be a girl.

Oh I hear ya!! I'm the same way! If December is what you think will be best...I'd get all your ducks in a row and wait...
Or.....order a large pizza, eat your heart out, grab an egg tomorrow, stuff yourself full of eggwhites, grab your DH and your vibrator and go for it!! I'll send reams of blue dust your way~~~~ :rofl:

Thanks for the blue dust! I guess I will see how I feel tomorrow... I just feel like no matter what, I will make the wrong choice. Ugh!

ALWAYS go with your gut BUT I would also point out that above and beyond the psychics, you were also off supps and DH may have been doing FR...in balance I would prob. not have you try, but then again there may be something to what Doula is saying in regards to the pizza/vibrator combo---maybe the reduction in stress and pressure thinking that you weren't going to try, will actually help your sway??

Yeah go with your instinct, I think it's better to know you gave it your absolute best shot no matter what the outcome. If you feel you messed it up and shouldn't have done it then you'll have that guilt to deal with.

Thanks, everyone. I got a +opk this evening, so I will be Oing tomorrow. I am going to skip this month, because I really don't feel prepared, and I don't want to regret anything. I will gear up for a great December attempt! DM, can I still have some blue dust for next cycle?? :)
