Didn't find out gender at our 19w scan but have managed to get hold of this not great potty shot from the scan. Not as clear as my DS2 was but thinking boy (think that's a willy in the middle)? We have another scan in 2 1/2 weeks so will get confirmation then but the wait is killing me. Wasn't going to find out gender but can't deal with not knowing. Attachment 40268
Hmm, it looks boy to me but please take that with a grain of salt because I am definitely not an expert. I think there are a couple ladies on the forum that are actual sonographers - maybe they can weigh in? Congrats on your baby!
Having had three girls I don’t know what a penis on u/s looks like live, but looks pretty boyish if the little protuberance is not cord ;)
I've had 2 boys, doesn't look as big and obvious as their bits did but doesn't look like any girl potty shot I've seen so resigned to hearing boy at my next scan. Holding out hope it's cord in the middle but doubt it.

my 4 confirmed on u/s boys were MUCH more obvious than this at 19 weeks. but this could be a well hidden boy..
there's some shadowy lines going on but are those lines from the cord? the middle line seems to carry on and fade out higher up.. but those lines on the sides dont make sense for a boy.
no real help at all im sorry :( i can see this going either way, my guess changes depending on how i look at the pic!!

I think its too thin to be a thingy.... but cant rule it out.

I'm not sure what the gender is based on this shot. 50-50 from me.
Just echoing what I said in the EDD, that this shot really doesn't give a clear answer. Thinking of you as you navigate whether to find out! I know how hard it is.
Yeah this isn't the best potty shot unfortunately. I'm thinking the bit sticking out might be cord but honestly it's too hard to tell. I just don't feel confident enough to guess either way.
Thank you all for your responses. Now I understand why the dr at my appointment couldn't tell me as it's not a great pic. 50/50 is better than 100% it's a boy so I will take that for now and just have to wait. Was going team green to start with - this Bub making me stick to that for now!
