Had my first attempt should I DTD again?

On CD 12 7am I got my first postive digital. I did a tube of rephresh at 7am, had DH release 10am (outside), then did fingertip of aci jel mid afternoon. DTD that night. Also this was very early for me. Only had postive digitals on CD 14 or 15, and O'd CD16 or CD17 (I guess this is making me suspect is O really coming!!)

Today CD13 digital OPK is negative. (Every month I have charted I O 2 days after first positive digital).

I've always said I was going to do a one time attempt. Now I'm wondering if I should DTD again.

This is my thought process: What if O doesn't follow the same pattern and doesn't come 2 days later. Has anyone experienced this?? Although I just checked cervix is so high I can't reach- means O is coming correct?


We've reduced sperm count by so much releasing, and rephresh, replens, acigel etc. although I did not use any after the attempt.

THoughts would be appreciated-need to know by tonight!!
So I should see temp drop tomorrow on FF?, right?

Oh and I'm staying calm and relaxed taking kids to park tomorrow will sit on a bench in the sun, then I'm gettting a manicure and back rub! yay

I had exactly the same thing the month of our attempt - I always got two days of digital positives but that month not only did I get a positive early, I only got it for one day! I'm very lucky in that I know when I am/have ovulated because I get incredibly swollen inside so that it's sore even to sit down. I can't remember how long you've been trying, is this your first attempt? If you're not desperate to get pregnant this cycle then you could leave it as it is (and yay for all that relaxing!) and you never know - I didn't expect to get a BFP with all the girl sway stuff we did either but I did! If you want to stand a higher chance of conceiving you could do the same today as you did yesterday (although I wouldn't add more Rephresh).

Yes its my first attempt. I just went to the bathroom and wiped had major EWCM which I NEVER have. and I'm taking zyrtec, weird! Guess O is here or about to be. Should I do anything about the EWCM. Could it be semen from last night perhaps?

THink I'm not going to attempt again. I guess I'm just confused because I got positive OPK so much earlier then last several months.

It could be semen - or semen mixed with Aci-jel plus a little EWCM! I *almost* had a second attempt and, in the end, decided not to because it didn't feel right. If that's what your gut is saying then don't do it - and good luck!

Thanks Zanacal I'm thinking I'm going to leave it alone. Should I do anything about the EWCM? The ph is like 4.5 pretty awesome for me.

The food sounds soooooo good! What is this "salt" you speak of? LOL!!! I'm dying for pretzels :) Maybe you'll get a postive.. I didn't realize you were trying for so long. Has DH been doing diet the whole time. Mine is excited to eat a little more the next few days!

Hey Hope and girls!

So, last year we decided to try with a 3 day cut off and no freq bd or release. You can imagine the stress when I started I purposely tried 4 days in advance and I was going to move sooner. I was quite regular....then, my dad went in the nursing home. I od on cd 20 instead of 15....then cd 12 instead of 15, then cd 22 instead of 15, then dcd 10......so, now it has been months and i was too early or too late when dtd. We then used more evidencel....Ovuce, cbfm and extra Opks.....and I was perfect 15 days ahead once I get in a rhythm. I was a bit paranoid so often ended up with a 3.5 day cut off which obviously is not going to get me pregnant! It got to me....and then I just started getting closer but making sure I swayed girl with other things.
Just when I nailed it,....I was over doing the other things...douching etc.
I have learned the hard way,...but, in retrospect, I was not ready to get pregnant. I was dealing with working full time, parents, kids, and life in general.
Now, I am ready...ready ready!
Girl or boy I want to have had the chance to try but ready.
So, I tried...I tried the diet, I tried to time it.
The diet continued, the timing sucked!
Now we need a night off!!
I figure if I am going to be prego...correct me if I am wrong, but at this point, what is happening? 3 dpo? Is the sperm determined? Crap, I guess I am now swaying boy...grrr!
Anyway, I will go back to swaying tomorrow and try hard to get pregnant!

As for salt, the brie is high in sodium, also the chipolte spinach dip high!!!! tortilla chips are no sodium but still a bad girl diet I am sure, olives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Enough said!!!

Hope: A postive,,,hahhahah, timing yes, swaying for girl actually reverses getting pregnant in my eyes.

I do think you should attempt again because i'm not 100% sure that first OPK was accurate.
