Which to believe - CB digi opks or opk strips

I briefly posted about this in the ttc girl forum but I'm curious if others have experienced what I have and what the best way to handle this.

My clearblue digi opk gave me three days of solid smiley face. Because I am ttc girl we did our first attempt at the first solid face. My CB digi opk is not the advanced .. it either shows an empty O for no surge or solid smiley for when LH surge. I know the advanced has a flashy smiley face.

Anyways so we did our first attempt at the first solid face. When I test using the regular opk strips they come out negative. The day that the digi goes negative (4th day) is when the opk strips turn positive. So confused.. which do you trust the digi or opk strips?

Anyone else experience this..

I want you to have attempt with the first positive of any brand, but if your strips are in any way confusing, then pick it up with e4d after that to guard against delayed ovualtion.

Thanks Atomic. Can you remind me how to e4d works. If I bd Monday would my 4th day be Wednesday or Thursday/Friday? Thank you

i also use the clear blue digital which only has an empty circle or solid smiley, i do have some opk strips too so out of interest i did a strip when i got the smiley on the digi and just like you it was negative. i really dont like the strips they never get as dark as the control line for me but the digi gets a smiley face every month so im just going by the digi! i got my smiley face in the evening of cd16 this month and we bd that night.. fingers crossed!!

for e4d it'd be either monday-thursday or monday-friday good luck!! :)

You would do it Monday/Thursday for best odds of conception, Monday/Friday for possibly better chance of pink. (both are considered "e4d")
