Placenta Previa after 3 natural vaginal births..

Hi ladies... I just learned today I have total placenta previa.
After 3 natural births this seems so strange... I know its more common when you have had C-sections or are older than 35. I don’t fit into any of those categories...
But anyway... any stories of people that have gone through this??
Ive had heavy bleeding (baby is ok) due to a subchronic hematoma.. on and off for 6 weeks.


Other than that baby girl is doing ok. Measuring a few days more than 16 weeks.

It's not strange, it happens. It's just a matter of where the little bean implanted.

I had it with my 4th pregnancy as well (although I was over 35) and it all ended well but I did have some heavy bleeding in early pregnancy and a bit of spotting later on. I had to be on "pelvic rest" which my husband was not so thrilled about but in the end, the placenta moved a little and I was still able to have a monitored vaginal birth. I did have some hemmorhaging during the birth but was able to avoid a c-section...not sure if they're holding out any hope for that or not. But either way, it's fairly common and many people have had it, then had perfectly healthy babies.

Yes, I obviously don’t want to put baby at risk or myself but I live giving birth the natural way and have always had an easy recovery.
I guess Ill wait and see what 20 + weeks scans show.

Most people I know with PP have been able to have a natural birth in the end. It often does resolve bu 30 weeks or so. Good luck and please keep us posted how you're getting along.

I had placenta previa. Delivered my baby girl via c-section on September 8th. But, I had 2 previous c sections so I would’ve delivered that way anyways.
