For past 3 scans im sure ive seen boy bits between legs, i did try convince myslef last time i saw the cord between the legs but really dont think id see something every single time.
Another scan in 3 weeks if baby doesnt arrives before ... im so ready for baby now though. Exhausted these days
Also had soooo many dreams about giving birth to a girl which supposedly means the opposite will happen - i know they are just dreams but ive had girl dreams evrrytime i had the boys ��
Maybe you’re imagining you’re seeing things because you’re subconsciously looking for it if you know what I mean? Bad analogy but it’s like if you’ve just watched a horror film and go into a dark room alone you’re convinced you can see things that aren’t there?

Thanks but ive had that many scans that id truly be amazed if it was a girl.
I am slightly disheartended but glad i never got confirmation beforehand as think i’ll cope better once baby is in my arms.
The only time i thought i saw a fork style was back at 18 weeks but im no expert so couldnt be for sure.
Doesnt help when the whole fam and friends are rooting for a girl too ...
Ah bless you I have fingers crossed. I feel lucky I have a DD and DS already but would love another DD and am swaying pink again this time, but we won’t be finding out gender until birth and I won’t be looking at the scans either unless it’s baby’s face haha xxx sending pink dust to you xxxx

Im the only one on my side and hubby side to have allll boys, its boy girl boy girl trend mainly.

Last time the sonographer asked if i knew sex and i said no so he whizzed over the bum area but a few times theyve frozen over that area without asking. Maybe i should have not looked at the scans at all - prob wanted to be smart and guess sex myself 🙄

Scans later in pregnancy are useless for determining gender. You just can't see the goods clearly as baby gets more and more cramped. Even for technicians, it's very tricky to see gender later on and so you just catching a glimpse of things on the screen is unlikely to mean anything. FX for an easy delivery and sending you tons of pink dust.

Even for the technicians who have years of training it's very hard to tell gender late in pregnancy and indeed they've given tons of false gender confirmations for people. So while it is of course a 50-50 chance that you're right, my thinking is, we've seen enough highly trained technicians get this wrong that I would personally not assume that you can see anything reliable in the course of a scan.
