Comments regarding DW's diet changes- I wasn't very strict with my diet. I had been following parts of the diet for a year, ie rarely any meat, smaller portions, lots more caffeine, skipping breakfast. But went through phases where my calorie counting was rather lax. Went on holiday 2 months before TTC where I didn't count calories at all, then went full pelt on the LE diet for the 5 weeks before TTC.

Comments regarding DH's diet- DH also ate a lot less meat, we've been mainly vegetarian for the past year.

Any Diet Comments/Additional Info? I definitely could have been stricter with my diet, but I decided the pressure of trying to get everything 'right' might be too much, so I focused on long term changes instead.

What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O? 77kg
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments? I lost 3kg in the 6 weeks before TTC. Walking was my main form of exercise, I was doing around 1.5 hours walking 5 days per week (although not all in one go, split into 2 sessions).

Any additional comments? I can't pinpoint my exact ovulation but it was one attempt somewhere between 1 - 3 days before ovulation

Any relevant attempt details? DH had warm baths during the week leading up to our attempt, including one just before we DTD. We were aiming for one attempt, so BD once when OPKs were at peak. DH neither abstained or did FR.

Any additional supplement info? I take 1000mg metformin daily for PCOS
I was also on the pill (Yasmin) and succeeded in catching the first egg after stopping the pill.

Things that make me feel great about my sway: My diet is definitely less nutritious than it has been when I conceived my three boys. I'm eating a lot less meat (avoid it mostly now), and smaller portions. Was never a big coffee drinker and now I've been having 2 or 3 cups a day.
There are a few things I did differently for this conception that I definitely wasn't doing for my boys - regular exercise, actively losing weight, NOT taking B vitamin supplements and prenatal vitamins, and one BD attempt.
My hormone profile has changed a lot since conceiving my boys. Yasmin and metformin have helped lower testosterone, balance my blood sugar levels, and raise SHBG.
Things that make me nervous about my sway: I have a sweet tooth and I'm not confident I cut down my sugar intake enough - maybe relied a bit too much on the metformin to balance that.
I didn't really lose much weight, definitely not at my lowest weight ever. I would have liked to have lost a lot of weight, but knowing myself, I'd struggle to stick to any form of strict diet for longer than 2 months, so I made the decision not to be too strict or worry about my weight too much.
I was only strict with the LE diet in the last 5 weeks before TTC, which I know is not ideal!
My weight and my diet are the things I find hardest to change. But I have consciously shifted my diet over the past year, and the changes that I've found easy, I've stuck to long term.
