One attempt question

New to this! I have 2 beautiful boys and swaying for pink.

My hubby is 32 and I'm 31 and healthy.
My youngest is 2.5years and we conceived them within first month of TTC.

I do have questions about one attempt. (Excuse my ignorance if they've been asked before. I could not find on any threads)

1. If you do one attempt. Does that mean hubby has no ejaculation leading up (abstinence + masturbation) ?
2. Do you do missionary and lady having no big O?
3. Do you jump & dump after?

The one attempt is separate from abstinence. You can do BOTH abstinence and one attempt, or you can just do one attempt. The abstinence has not seemed to help anyone's sway and can cut odds of conception. The one attempt is what works. But many people do prefer to start off doing abstinence and one attempt, and then if you don't get pregnant that way, we would have you drop abstinence and have hubby go to regular release every 2-4 days with one attempt instead.

I really doubt positions do very much, use your own discretion on that. Most of us choose to skip the Big O but it's not clear if that actually does anything. Many of us (myself included) did get girls with the Big O. I do advise against doing a shallow release though. It's never been shown to help, and has cut odds of conception massively. I regularly have people who go on and on not conceiving even as we try everything to boost their odds, and then I find out they've been doing shallow release that whole time. I have them drop that and most conceive very quickly thereafter.

Most people are doing J and D after 5 minutes. It has seemed to add something statistically in our results but does of course cut odds of conception somewhat (nowhere near what shallow release does, though). I'd start off doing it at the 5 minute mark and then gradually extend that over time till you get pregnant.

So just to clarify the release thing... I am very happy to not do abstinence, you did mention 2-4 days release for him.
Could you just clarify the most effective release pattern in our situation, if you were me what you would do?

And, those days he releases before the one attempt is that protected or unprotected?

That's the thing - if any of the frequency patterns worked (abstain, FR, hurry up FR, etc) I would recommend them to you guys!! But they don't work and all of them cut odds of conception. ONLY the one attempt works. So since only one attempt works, it makes sense to me to do the regular release (which makes healthy sperm) and the one attempt. But most people do want to start off using a supposed pink-friendly pattern like abstain first and then drop it if they don't get pregnant after a couple months.

I got my daughter with release about every 4-5 days and one attempt. This was before we even knew about the one attempt, we just lucked our way into it because of a very busy month that month. But my pattern was definitely semi-regular release and one attempt.

Hubs can do protected or unprotected, I'd start off with protected and then if you don't get pregnant after a couple months, drop the protection in case you're not gettting your one attempt timed right.
