Use full applicator of Rephresh morning of attempt??

I am sorry if this was asked somewhere else...I could not find the thread.
Is it ok to use a full app. of Rephresh the morning of your evening attempt (roughly 12 hours before you dtd)? Or is that too much and one should aim for 1/2 app. 12 hours before they dtd?

And what if you time it wrong...like I am dtd on +opk night and o night. So I will try to time using rephresh every 3 days, one of those days being the day I think I will get my +opk; but what if it turns out that I used a whole applicator the morning before my +opk...should I just use a fingertip rephresh when I get my +opk?

I think if I'd used it either that morning or the morning before then I would leave it at that but if I had used it 2 days before I would add 1/2 applicator after I got my +OPK (which I'm guessing you take in the afternoon?). I wouldn't try and second guess what day I might get my +OPK, just assess the situation when it happens and don't worry about it.

ok thanks. I will take my opk's w/ fmu, noon, 4pm and late evening before I go to bed. I usually o on day 16 or 17 so I know not to start taking them til cd12 earliest.

I find it very hard to ONLY get half of it in... it's hard to measure it because it's not a massive amount in a full dose anyway

I used a full applicator the morning of my first attempt then BDed twice the day after

I used half an appl the morning before an evening attempt, didn't want to have it too close as still wanted chance to get pg. Would be more useful if I knew what gender I have to be able to give you advice! Good luck with your attempt.

I agree, it's near impossible to be accurate with 1/2 an applicator - just give it a quick squeeze rather than a full squeeze and don't sweat it :D

You are fr-ing?? Did you have your dh release in between your 2 attempts on one day? Does that make sense?

Thanks - ya I was thinking about not stressing over it and just using full app every 3 days. Then on the days I am not using it but making attempts to use a large fingertip those morning before our evening attempt.

yes, compressed FR. he released at noon at O-3, released again at noon at O-2... we DTD in the evening on O-2, then again in the early hours of O-1, and lastly in the evening at O-1. He didn't release in between any of those 3 attempts as I think the initial 2 releases would have lowered it enough

There is no way to know for sure and all you can do is just go with what makes sense to you on a gut level.

I usually tell people to use a full or a 1/2 applicator, the night before the day of their attempt, but I have no data that says one is better than the other.

If you jsut used an applicator right before your attempt, then don't use anything else.
