I think I messed it up a bit :/

Dear atomic,

I took clomid for the first time this month (3-7). We had an attempt at CD 13, because my OPKs didn't work (never positive) these last months although my cycles shortened (from about 60 to about 31 days) since LE diet since April.

After the attempt we did get a direct solid smiley on CD16 (CD 15 OPK didn't work, error symbol). I was so surprised and probably too impatient. Then I got nervous because I had side effects from clomid and wanted to get pregnant soon. So we had another attempt on CD 17. (e4d) It is not as good as one attempt but better then two attempts in a row right? Also this last month I relaxed a little on exercise because of high stress at work (It was horrible) and because of some sickness and because of clomid effects. (I lay awake two nights because of bad cramps on CD 11 and 12). Ate a little more during holiday but thankfully didn't fall off the diet as we brought our own food and maintained my weight. (down from 62,5kg to 56kg, Bmi 20) and managed overnight Fasting most days. I did nearly 7 days of cardio each week for the first 3 months and only managed about 2 to 3 days of exercise per week the last month :(

I didn't swaysess but now I feel a little scared after these two attempts. My question is: if I need to get pregnant soon on clomid, should I keep the e4d next month? AF is expected around 5th September. I am on track with more exercise again and I hope that I didn't kind of sway blue this month

I strongly believe in one attempt but should have practiced with OPKs sooner. Also I don't know anything about temp charts

Also during my failed HT attempts in spring and last year I suddenly had lining issues, probably because of the Fertility meds? Never had this before. Would this be another reason to keep 2 attempts to get pregnant on Clomid fast? :/ Thank you!!

All 4 of my girls were two attempts with a day or two in between so hoping this will

It was fine that you had that additional attempt and it was far enough out that it was still only one attempt. e4d counts as one attempt.

Don't worry about the relaxing on exercise, that is fine when you need to.

Please do not lose any more weight, do what you need to do to keep weight on.

Yes, I want you to do e4d all month long and I want you to do it in the every 72 hour pattern. So CD 13 and CD 16 next time rather than CD 17. That is fine and won't sway blue. Start this pattern after your last dose of Clomid and keep going all thru the whole month even if you think you ovulated. That way you'll be protected in case O happens later than you think it will.

The IVF meds are much harsher than the Clomid. Many people have lining issues with IVF and never have them with Clomid. Are you getting enough fat?? Let's up this to 50-60 g and make sure you're having a serving of full fat dairy every day and 4-6 eggs a week. Drop fiber if you're using it.
