Cloudiedayz Girl Sway Attempt
Hi all,
Just getting around to post my girl sway information. We are team green and due to give birth in Feb 2021 so haven't confirmed the gender yet but I thought it would be good to post this before knowing 100% so I'm not providing an biased information! I'll update this once I know for sure.

Did you follow a diet plan?

If yes to diet, which one did you most follow?
Low Everything (LE). DH and I also became vegetarian (with very occasional fish maybe once a fortnight) around 4 months prior to TTC. The vegetarianism was more related to environmental/health concerns but happened to fit nicely with swaying for a girl.
Comments regarding DW's diet changes-
I have always eaten a lot of fruit and vegetables and continued to do so on the LE diet, however I did reduce my fat and protein intake a lot. I used to eat chicken or meat probably most days of the week. I still had dairy (milk, cheese and yoghurt) on the LE diet but more as parts of my meals rather than as separate snacks like I used to. I did not snack at all throughout the day. I used to snack on things like nuts, fruit, crackers, cheese and hummus, yoghurt, chips, chocolate, etc. and always had at least 3 snacks during the day.
If diet was used, length of time before attempt?
Approx 8 weeks when I got my bfp so I'm hoping it was long enough! My protein/fat intake would have been reduced from going vegetarian a few months beforehand but I was not tracking this to know for sure.
Did you skip breakfast regularly?
I still ate breakfast but just changed the time of day I ate it. My last meal of the day was dinner at 5:30pm (as I eat with my son) and I then had breakfast around 9am (generally fasting for around 15 hours overnight). I used to eat dinner at 5:30, have a snack around 8pm and then breakfast around 7am.
Did DH change his diet with you?
He went vegetarian at the same time I did but did not change his diet in any other way.
Comments regarding DH's diet-
We both have always eaten lots of fruit and vegetables. He has always eaten at least 3-4 serves of fruit a day. He has also always had a lot of coffee (minimum 3 cups a day). He obviously cut out meat but no other changes to his diet.
Did you consume alcohol?
Occasionally.
Did you try to limit caffeine?
I have never been a tea or coffee drinker so my only caffeine intake is via chocolate which I pretty much cut out.
Any Diet Details?
I still had three meals a day. I could not have done it on two as I was still breastfeeding once a day. I did fast though for around 15 hours between dinner and breakfast.
Any Diet Comments/Additional Info?
I ate a lot of veggie stir-fries and stuffed baked eggplants.
WEIGHT AND EXERCISE
What did you weigh/BMI do leading up to O?
I was at the very lower end of the healthy BMI range for my height prior to starting my sway and dipped into the slightly underweight BMI range once I started my sway. I have pretty much always been within these ranges my whole life though, as is the rest of my family. I wouldn't be able to go on the LE long term.
Any Weight/Exercise related additional info/comments?
I exercised most days in the form of incidental exercise- walks to the park and running around/playing with my son. Even this was a lot more than what I'd been doing prior to conceiving my son, which was pretty much nothing. Three days a week I also tried to do more intensive cardio exercise- mostly via 45-60 minute Youtube videos of dance classes, zumba, step, etc.

Any relevant attempt details?
My cycle is very predictable so I usually know the day I will ovulate. We BD every 4 days leading up to ovulation and timed it so our attempt in the fertile window was 1 day before ovulation. DH did not release in between.

No. We happened to fit with a girl on the Chinese calendar but did not plan this (we were supposedly girl for our son too).
Things that make me feel great about my sway:
I was still breastfeeding once a day and I know vegetarianism sways pink.
Things that make me nervous about my sway:
That we conceived on the first try and I also know I wasn't on the LE diet for a long period before we conceived, although I would have been eating less protein and animal fat simply due to going vegetarian a few months before so I'm hoping that was enough!
Things worth mentioning:
I was still breastfeeding my son once a day when we conceived.
I had been diagnosed with post-natal anxiety so had a lot more anxiety/stress than when we conceived DS (was not on any medication for this).
I was also on prenatal multivitamins prior to conceiving DS- I only started taking these once I got my BFP this time around.
