Possible BFP? Trigger and pain confusion

Hi there! I’ve been testing out my trigger and it seems to have gotten lighter than darker? I’m absolutely panicking because I had one mature follicle at the time of trigger and a bunch of smaller ones on the opposite ovary. My doctor assured me the smaller ones wouldn’t drop but given the trigger induces rapid maturation I’m worried because ALLLLL of my pains and twinges are on that side (the same twinges I recognize with previous Bfps). Is it possible they were able to mature enough to fertilize? I’m terrified of twins!

I triggered the day before ovulation

If the eggs weren't big enough the trigger won't release them. (and even in the odd chance they were shed somehow they would not be mature/fertilizable) Now, it is possible that a doctor can miss a ripe follicle and you can end up triggering with more than one egg but that's not really the question you're asking me.

You need to understand that your ovaries can ache just as bad if not worse from eggs not released. It's like popping a ripe zit.

I agree your tests do seem a bit darker now but be aware that tests can dance back and forth from light to darker because of urine concentration and not because of HCG per se. Be cautiously optimistic but I would not call that a BFP yet.

Thank you! My tests today were darker than they’ve ever been, even at the start of the trigger... so full on freaking out! I’m trying to work on my chart, do you consider this one attempt or two?

Probably just one because if there was anything left from the Tue attempt it would have fertilized the egg before the Thursday shot would have had time to.
