BSF question

I know that BSF isn’t recommended on this site, but I got all my info from a different site and don’t know if I made a mistake . I did bsf about 7 min before we dtd. I wanted to wait for an hour but it didn’t go as planned. Do you think it killed all the sperm? I tested and my ph tests only go up to 9 and I got a 9 result. We are TTC a boy.

Semen and CM are amazing things, they can act as a "life raft" to keep sperm alive even in less than desirable environments. It may be that they helped some of the sperm to stay alive. I would strongly, STRONGLY recommend another attempt ASAP to ensure there are good amounts of sperm waiting to greet the egg.
