what is going on with the urine pH testing???

I have barely ever, in 12+ years' time, seen anyone testing URINE pH. In the past two months I have encountered twenty people testing urine pH. What is going on here?? Is there some website aggressively marketing this approach or something?? Because it is not and never has been a thing. You can change the pH of your urine back and forth in a half an hour by drinking different beverages and it is MEANINGLESS for a sway.

DO NOT TEST URINE PH! TEST CERVICAL MUCUS PH ONLY AND ONLY AROUND OVULATION.

I would love to know the backstory on this weird outbreak of urine pH testing if anyone knows.

Is there any accuracy to testing first morning urine ph in early (before 6 weeks) pregnancy to guess gender?? I have seen that around alot, where a high ph is boy, low ph is girl. I have actually done this and it was right for my girl and boy. Just a coincidence??

No, there is no accuracy to urine testing AT ALL for any reason. You can literally change your urine pH by eating or drinking certain foods, it will change right before your eyes.

Urine pH has ZERO to do with your baby's gender.
