Thinking about IVF PGD

We are thinking of going for IVF PGD for gender selection and while I have been reading various posts I have been seeing different terminology for the 'PGD' part of the process. Can someone direct me to some links to start researching and to understand the different processes (GSN, aCGH, FISH)? Also the differences between day 3 and day 5 testing? Or is there a '101' section on here? Thank you for reading!
