Is vitex going to increase cm???

I have read that vitex helps progesterone and decreases estrogen. Since I am TTC a girl, I am a bit nervous about it increasing cm. I have read about a lot of people having this happen.....any input...

Estrogen = CM, not progesterone. Vitex tends to lower estrogen, raise prog, and should not increase CM.

That having been said, sometimes when you screw with the hormones, your body does weird stuff as a result. You never know what it will do and so it's best to proceed slowly and always have a back up plan in place (for CM, antihistamines are a great backup.)

A LOT of people take vitex in addition to other things that DO make more CM so it may be that some people were getting a little confused about cause and effect.

started vitex last month having tons and tons of cm my first month on it:-(, hope this will change next month...

Some women have more fertile CM on Vitex but most have less. On both Vitex and LE I have 0-2 days of EWCM, creamy the most of the time. This month I'm on break from the diet and off Vitex, I had 6 days straight of EWCM.

I didn't have LESS CM before, it was just (mostly) creamy during my fertile period instead of EW.

I had sort of ewcm around CD 20 but havent had AF yet, so dunno if Vitex actually worked on making me ovulate again( but it felt like it did).

The rest of the time it was just creamy but I am having a lot... I usually have a lot too:-(

you have to give the vitex time to work. Can take more than one month.

Re CD 20 and EWCM - what day do you think you ovulated? It's not unusual to have EWCM with the secondary estrogen surge that occurs aobut a week after ovulation.

I indeed di ovulate on cd21, and had a perfect LP phase 14 days. Af almost finished. so happy, it works:-)
