Hey guys... Here's the only shot I have of the nub. It's rather forked in the negatives I have, and this was the best I could do to get a pic of it. :)
I'm 12 weeks according to my dates but bub is measuring 12w 6d.

I would lean boy based n angle Cause it's def not parallel to the spine... Are you able to get any of the negs up? I think there is still hope for this to be a girl

The spine does seem to have a slight curl, so that may distort the upwards angle? I am not an expert. I know your wanting pink, so I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm leaning girl. Spine isn't straight and the nub has the shape of a girl nub. I think it would be angled up more if it were a boy.

I am leaning boy but only by a little bit!! I think it could go either way! Considering your dates is why I lean boy! See if you said 12 weeks I would say boy but 12+6 is nearly 13 and I can usually see more of a lean by 13 weeks than that I would guess girl! I am no expert though just my thoughts!

Looks boy to be but it could be due to the curve in the spine, the shape of the nub looks girly, so it could go either way. Hope you hear pink at your next scan! fx
Boys and girls ca hae forked nubs.
Hard to be sure with this one. For a boy a would have expected a bigger angle at this stage, for a girl I would have expected it to be flatter at this stage.
I'm guessing it's a boy! But......a nub is not ever 100% and this one gives much room for error guessing so it really might just be a tricky girl. Maybe look at in-gender at the "confirmed girl nubs" and then you will find nubs just like yours.
Maybe boy (am new at guessing though) but I think it would be helpful if you had other pictures? Did you get a glimpse through the scan, if so was it generally sticking up? I think it's so hard to guess from one shot in isolation. I had a couple of shots that looked kinda angled but the majority of the time it was pretty flat.
I did see it during the scan and I was sure it was really flat.. But it wasn't a big look, more like a few glimpses. When I saw the pic I was a tiny bit surprised by the angle.. But I wasn't worried about getting more looks because I saw her take the screen shot of the nub! Bummer huh. ;)Quote:

How sure of your dates are you? 6 days is a big difference at this stage, if it is nearly 13 weeks i would expect it to be more angled, if you are only 12 weeks it could be rising (although hopefully won't). All of my u/s with the kids have moved my dates forward and i've always been late delivering (but only a day or so out if they'd left my dates alone!). Point is i have been more accurate at dating at least two of my babes as i used ovulation digi sticks (there's no way they could be a week out unless you had a fake o first but then most girls on here watch their cycles for that long they know a fake o when they get one)
I am no good at this so won't even guess but just wanted to say that I got a nub shot that looked like a perfect boy nub and I would have put money on it we were having a boy but after standard and 3d/4d scans on 4 different machines all have confirmed my little one is a girl. Your little one may well be too.
