I'm no expert but though the nub is forked it seems to be angled. Slight boy lean ( I honestly hope I'm wrong and it turns out to be a girl).
Off the bat it looks angled and boy but shape and length look girly. I think the actual nub itself, looking closely, is girly. But I wouldn't be surprised either way.
I'm with babygirlquest, I could see this going either way - but - if you forced me to pick I'd lean girl. Keeping everything crossed that this is your girl! I remember you from years ago when we were on the sway boards for our now 2 year olds :happy:

Does this picture show anything? Tech did guess boy, but she didn't know about nub theory and she went to look between the legs and took this pic saying it looked like boy bits.
Also, if I look at my first pic from far away, I think boy too but then when I look closer it throws me off! Either way, I'm remaining hopeful!

Hmm, that's a tricky one! My initial thought was blue, but then I scrutinised it a bit and thought it looks more pink....?

Oh I am hoping pink for you!! I am leaning 55% girl because of the angle, but this is a tricky nub!

I will say, the Dr told me boy at my 13+4 US, but she is very much a girl. So it's just too early for a potty shot! But hoping for pink!!
I so hope this is your girl but for me the angle looks more boy then girl...that fork is odd though. Keep us posted!

Thank you all!! It seems across the board I'm getting a mix of boy and girl guesses and I'm thrilled!!! For the first time, I actually have some hope and feel really good about that. This is the first time I've actually had a nub not sticking straight up. When I went in for DS4 at 13 weeks, they gave me the pic below. When she asked me if I saw something sticking up this time, I was totally expecting a shot like that and was so happy it wasn't the case. LOL!!!

I did get some additional hope from IG. I was getting mostly boy guesses and the US forum leader said girl and posted her thoughts - see below.

So, I'm thinking positive thoughts, trusting in my faith, and knowing it is what it is. Scrutinizing the pic won't change it or stressing out about it won't either. So, I'm going to schedule an elective in a few weeks and keep my fingers crossed. If it is a boy, we will love him to pieces and he will have an abundance of clothes, toys, and friends in the house. :HH:
Thinking girl actually... You should go to the private Facebook group Strictly nub theory and post your shot overthere. The admins on there (they mark 'admin' under their reaction) are almost always right :)

It is actually a very funny nub pic cos when I see it from far off I think classic boy but when you zoom in I think it's classic girl! I think it's the angle of the baby that is throwing us, if your baby's spine was flat and bum angled straight or down I think it would look much more obviously girly!
So I said I wasn't going to do this, but I totally played with the pic and adjusted the angle of the spine so more flat. I know, I know...I just can't help it lol!!! I'm trying not to obsess, but I also find it fun at least and keeps my hope alive!Attachment 30155

If it was 13 weeks I'd be positive it's a girl but 12 week it's time to rise, praying it's a pink bundle for you I know exactly how you feel nubcessing hoping for a princess x

It's pretty flat because with a boy nub it would appear rised and the blop on top more round shape sticking with girl guess :)
