I hope everyone is right!! I went in at 12 weeks hoping to get a nub shot. I know it was early. I asked the tech why did she do a potty shot so early they all look the same. She tried to get a good nub shot but couldnt due to the baby moving. She said she seen the nub sticking straight up but i didnt see i couldnt tell so thats why i dont trust her. Then she looked between the legs and said oh ya its a boy! I kept asking her are you sure and she said yes, shes been doing this for 30 yrs she knows. She showed me two white dots just under what she said was the penis. So is that the sac? Please let me know! I go back on March 29th. The wait is killing me. I want to hear boy at the next ultrasound! Im just so nervous that she got my hopes up and its a girl! What do u guys think?

Normally I would never guess on a 12 week potty shot. Just too early and not reliable. It sounds like you might get what you are hoping for though :)

I honestly don't know why any tech would give a guess from a potty shot at this gestation. At this stage all babies have nubs or "mini penises". From 14 weeks toilet shots combined with a profile shot is a good way to determine gender. Sounds like she got a good look at the nub though! :) FX!
Foxy-she looked at the nub first then looked at the potty shot and said yep it's a boy. She showed me two white dots under the nub. She said it was sac. But I thought the balls don't drop till way later. So I don't kno what to think.

The testes don't drop until the third trimester, but I don't think that is what she meant. You can still see a sac. Leaning :DS: from the 3rd pic! GL!Quote:

I'm not saying that this isn't a boy, but I have seen too many toilet shots at 12 weeks change. They are just not reliable. GL!
