Haha! Thank you! I feel like I sort of have to be (where the house is concerned) since we moved into this place in mid-January and it had been foreclosed for about a year, I think. Lots of fixing up to do. Almost the whole upstairs had two layers of wallpaper and the downstairs had water/pet damage.
I think I'm mostly just excited to get the downstairs fixed because that's where the playroom and the craft room are going to be and I've NEVER had a place to have just my crafting stuff (and not have to pack it aaaalllllll away into a closet again once I'm done). And the layout is such that the kids can play, I can check in very easily, and a gate can be set up so there is no escaping, LOL!

Mocha, I have a friend in the exact same position, and I get to listen to the same stuff! I am really happy for her, and her divorce has been horrible, so I don't mind so much listening to the stuff she gushes on about, but I know what you mean about it being such a long time since friends were going through all that. ANd I can see why you are annoyed that your friend ditches you on your movie night! That would annoy me too!

Yeah, I just needed a quick rant because in real life I'm nothing but supportive. I am happy for her, and I know things will calm down eventually and they won't be spending every minute together. I'm just being selfish because once the baby's born it will be harder for me to get out, so this summer is it for a while for me!

Well the weather here is horrible and rainy, we had to cancel our day out to the beach with the boys and dogs. We went to ikea this morning and have chosen a big boy bed for DS3, we will get it once we have gotten the bunk beds for DS1 and DS2. Want to get the boys all sorted in new beds before baby arrives, not sure how DS3 will take to a bed instead of his cot.
This afternoon DS1 and DS2 have gone to nanny for tea and DS3 having a nap so DH and I have been lazy and played mario kart on the wii (big kids) lol! I love being cosy inside when its cold and rainy out.

We have a long weekend here. Yesterday we went to Greek Glenti, an annual Greek festival in the city. Darwin is very multi-cultural and there are lots of festivals and shows in the dry season. I love going along to enjoy all the food, music and dancing. The kids love the rides and the food. I went a bit crazy with the honey puffs and the greek desserts- so good. Today DH made crepes and I had a sleep in and now he has gone fishing for the rest of the day. Tomorrow we will probably go on a jumping crocodile boat cruise as I won 4 tickets for selling the most raffle tickets at child care!
Next week my PIL arrive for a week so no doubt I will be busy ferrying them around and entertaining them. Every day is blue skies and warm here at this time of year, so the family likes to escape the winter down south and visit. Only 2 weeks until school holidays and then the kids will have 4 weeks off school.
Pinkin, how are you travelling? Not long until your scan!

Hi Peony, I am going well thanks, starting to grow a bit more still not feeling much going on in there!!
-
Must be because you have a gentle, petite girl growing in there! I only get the occasional gentle taps if I am patient. DS1 said he felt a tap yesterday! I often wake up with a lump on the right side of my belly. Last night I had a dream that if the baby is squished to the right then it is a girl...my wishful thinking!!
