It certainly does drag on....I am 6DPO when are you planning on POAS?

Thanks, TTCPink! I did have a follow up appointment today. No trace of the infection left, and they didn't do another blood test to check for HCG. I think I'll wait until Wednesday to POAS. I would rather get my period than see a BFN! Good luck to all tomorrow!! Can't wait to hear some good news :)
Thanks for sharing this! It makes me want to wait as long as I can, though.... Getting negatives for five days would be hard to bear, but I don't know if I can wait, either. Those of you who are testing early, does the emotional up and down of testing and getting bfn get you down?
TTCPink thanks for sharing that!
It definitely makes me feel more confident that I'm nowhere near out yet.
Itester, I used to let it get me down, but things have shifted for me lately: figured out a longstanding health problem that was the cause of 3 unsuccessful years of ttc, plus I've done more reasearch about the process itself and how long it takes (and how hard it is to pinpoint ovulation or implantation)... all of that plus graphs like the one you linked to.... and I'm relatively laid back about it now.
But ask me again if I hit 14dpo and still have bfn's lol ;-)
So I'm going to the dr on Wednesday, not for any particular reason, just because I am new to the area and need a new dr. (family dr not OBGYN) Anyhow they said they will do a battery of routine tests including a blood test does anyone know if this routine type of test would show HCG? Or if it is anything they will even be looking for? I will be 8 DPO at my appt.
Forgot to add itester...my girlfriend just got BFNs on 8, 9 and 10 dpo...then a BFP on 11dpo.
When I switched Dr's they did similar routine testing, but didn't check for HCG. It all goes off to a lab and if they don't order a specific test it won't be checked for that particular thing. The testing is more for health related issues. But maybe you could mention you might be pregnant and maybe they'll throw that on the order.
Well if it all goes to a lab, I probably wouldn't find out til a day or two later, and by then I can just POAS so I probably wont mention it at all. 4 more days until I POAS!
Also, I wanted to mention that my cramps are gone :( I was hoping they were a good sign but they have vanished!
