Welcome to all of the new ladies!
Charlee, I so hope that you get some good news today. Keeping everything crossed tightly for you!
P4P I also hope that your first scan went well.
Sorry to all for being so rubbish at keeping up-to-date on the forums! April has been quite the month so far with both boys having chicken pox & ds1 having a fractured ankle at the same time. It's also ds2's 4th birthday on Weds so we're glad he'll be well enough for it, albeit scabby & spotty! Everything seems to be going fine with this bub so far. I had my booking appointment with my midwife last week and even discussed a potential trial of labour after 2 c-sections. Keeping my finger's crossed that that stays an option. I have been having nausea each day, some days worse than others. I certainly don't remember not wanting to eat with either ds! Still, I make up for it when the nausea passes. After months of being super-skinny with 2 fried eggs on an ironing board for boobs, I feel like Dolly Parton now! Yay! Except for them being sore :(
Has anyone told their kiddies yet? We're telling ours on my birthday next week, I'll be 8 weeks by then.
I can't believe that considering my history, the midwife is very relaxed and my next appt with her will be at 21 weeks. Obviously, I'll have a scan at 12 & 20 weeks plus a consultant appt at 16 weeks too. I am relaxing much more into this pg now and trusting my body that everything feels fine. I'm embracing the nausea as a good sign! It was hard playing my tenor horn last week for a concert whilst feeling very nauseous and even thought of the bell of the instrument as somewhere to puke into if necessary! I was trapped at the back of the band with no escape. Thankfully I kept it under control and haven't been sick at all. I don't know how I'll play with a bump!
