OMG... I can't believe they think possible ectopic and you aren't getting an ultrasound asap. That is just crazy!! You present to the ER here with pain, bleeding and pregnancy you are one of the first in line. I really hope everything is okay. I think if it were ectopic you would be in a lot more pain and you would have had more spotting before now. Please let us know what is going on. Don't freak if they don't see an HB... your only 5+6 so you may not see one and depending on how good their ultrasound and tech is they may not find anything. Thinking about you!! Update when you get a chance!!

I agree with Wantingpink, I don't think it's an ectopic but you should def get an u/s, and geeez if they are thinking that (whether it's true or not), there is no "deciding" about whether to give you an u/s, for Christ sake it should be done asap!! I also agree with WP about seeing a hb, you won't at this stage so if you don't see one don't fret.
I am still holding out hope you just have another gusher....thinking of u and anxiously waiting to here your update. xo

Ok, so no ultrasound because my bloods came back and the HCG levels are only measuring about a low 3 weeks so they said they won't be able to even see a pregnancy sac, no matter where it is, let alone anything else.
They have concluded a miscarriage as the bleeding is now like normal AF bleeding and the pain has gotten more cramps and more painful. I've been referred to a new pregnancy outpatient clinic to confirm it all next week.

I have just read this...
Mumofsix, I'm thinking of you and really hope it will be ok.
Please do insist on an u/s. as you know I had no pains and still had an ectopic.
Be strong. Hugs and love xxx

I am so sorry Mumofsix. I know that isn't the news you wanted to hear. Big hugs :hugs:
Still can't believe they wouldn't ultrasound you!!! A halmark of ectopic is a slow rising Hcg. I am not trying to freak you out... that is the last thing you need. But it is something to be aware of. Ectopic is relatively rare but it isn't that rare. You need to get your Hcg retested in a couple of days to see what is going on. What were your instructions when you left?? Take it easy and know we are thinking about you:(
