Ladies I have an annoying charting question. Any ideas for me? (BTW I use IC OPKs AND the plain Clear blue ones to confirm, so when I say "postiive OPK" I mean smiley face on the clear blue AND dark lines on IC's)
Thursday - EWCM, Negative OPK
Friday - EWCM, + OPK, we didn't BD because we had guests
Saturday - EWCM, + OPK , BD (Our one attempt)
Sunday - I stopped testing OPK here, big mistake I guess? Thought I had cramping related to O
Monday - NO TEMPERATURE RISE ON MY CHART. Same freaking temp as yesterday!!! How do temp rises work ladies? I've been charting for 6 months and I feel like I usually see a temp rise the day after O, but maybe 2 days after is still normal?
So now I'm freaked out that my body geared up to ovulate but didn't (I've always ovulated on the same day (CD15) for months and months). I'll take another OPK to see. I'm curious, when do you guys usually see your temp rise from ovulation?

How long are your normal cycles?x

I normally ovulate CD15 and have a 29 day cycle (13 day LP).

Hi Ladies! Just dropping by to wish you all luck, and congrats to those who have already gotten their BFP's in July. Our first attempt will be in August, so I am impatiently waiting.

Bluebonnet - my temps are slow to rise, it never happens the following day for me. Normally I get a rise 4-5 days after pos OPK and I am pretty sure I O 24 hours after the positive. This was also the case when TTC my son.

Thanks Steph! Hoping I ovulate this month and my Temps jump up soon. I read about your temp drop in the other thread and I'm hoping you're wrong about AF! You've been on this diet long enough!

I keep trying to tell myself it's still above the coverline but it was a massive drop. And I have had AF cramps all day today :( I dread going to the toilet as I don't want to see blood but I know there's nowt I can do.

steph - how long would that make your LP ? Did you have LP issues before BC/diet/Exercise/etc ? I'm so sorry you're going through this! Hope atomic has ideas for you to help lengthen your LP without swaying blue. Maybe if it's short enough it's worth talking to a doctor about progesterone creams/supplements.

Thank you - my doctor really isn't interested. I called them last month to tell them my LP had been between 5-9 days for 3 cycles and I asked if it had anything to do with the low prog blood test result in April. She told me not to over intellectualise it, to trust my body as it was getting itself back to normal after BCP. She said if I'm still worried in 2-3 cycles they will do the blood test again.
2 cycles ago I asked atomics advice and she said to take zinc 3 times a week, make the effort to eat 4 eggs a week and include full fat dairy every day. I was having the dairy anyway but not the eggs. I think last cycle I had a 9 day LP as AF arrived on what I thought was 10dpo.
Currently I believe I am 8dpo. Been having AF cramps all day but still no blood. I'll be devastated if my LP has shortened. I even cut down to 5 days a week exercise and was eating more food. I know it's mostly bad luck but it's really depressing me. I really don't care anymore about the sway. I know it's not the sway preventing me getting PG but I have gone past caring about it I just want a baby.

*HUGS* steph. I can't imagine the frustration you are feeling! I'm so irritated for you that your doctor isn't showing more concern about your LP and trying to help you more. I hope you get your BFP this month or AF holds off for a few days at least so your LP isn't shortening! Keep us posted, we are all keeping our fingers crossed for you!
