Signing, I see something there too! FX it will get darker!
I'm 0dpo today. Had +opk yesterday and had our attempt then. I didn't ovulate any earlier, +opk was cd19. I really hope this is our month but not feeling very positive we will get pregnant. I'm just so ready to stop LE diet.

I totally get being over the LE diet. I've been on it for close to 7 months and I'm sick of it!:sigh: Hopefully you won't have to worry about it over the holidays. ;)

So on another board/thread I've been reading I remembered Atomic saying this:

It really does work as a HPT! With DS1 I took an opk at like midnight around 12 or 13 dpo and got the darkest lines. I tested two days later with a FR and got a BFP. OPKs pick up both LH and Hcg because they're similar chemically that's why they're usually pos. during pregnancy.
I had +opk with DS1 too when I was pregnant. Signing, that sounds really promising! FX!
Signingmommy I'm so excited for your next test! I too think a pos opk at your dpo is a very good indication! Bring on that bfp!

Regarding opks as hpts though I will no longer do them as I found them extremely unreliable. With DS2 I got a BFP on my pregnancy test at 10dpo, but took opks daily before and after my BFPs and never got a +opk, even 5 days after my BFP.
Twice, during the last few months I've taken opks a day or so before AF was due and got definite positives (including on a digital CB opk). Both times AF arrived right on time and all hpts were BFN. Got my hopes up for nothing. If you google "LH surge before period" you'll find other women with similar experiences. I guess it's normal for some women to have a LH surge before AF. I've also gotten almost positive opks and strong O pains during AF without O'ing early.
Hiya Pbn, I took another frer yesterday and my line was darker than the control line!!!! Still haven't told hubby yet, not sure when I will get to the Dr to get a form to get bloods done, but I'm interested to know numbers :happy:Quote:
