My therapist pointed out to me -- back when I was pregnant with my DD and so depressed I thought I'd even miscarry my DD -- women carry healthy babies through war zones, through addiction, etc. We -- at least, people like you and me (I guess boy moms, haha) -- are so desperate for control that we'll look to blame ourselves first rather than chalk things up to "it just happened." Finding "reasons" feels better than thinking we don't have that control.

It's funny that you developed a long standing meat aversion from your pregnancy that can only help your girl sway -- I developed a coffee aversion at literally 3 weeks pregnant with my DD that has still not gone away! It's like our kids are helping our sways ;)

glad i didnt offend you :) and yeah your right we dont know everything that can go wrong yet and i hope they can one day find ways to test for more abnormalities etc so that more people can get answers.. thankyou for your kind words <3
not having reasons is difficult as you say its easier to have an answer than just to say "it happened" and accept it at that.
isnt that strange that we both ended up with aversions that work in our favour!! :) can only be a good thing right!!

yes!! :D 6 years and 5 months between oldest and youngest, most people think im crazy but i love small age gaps and wouldnt have it any other way!! (though some days can be tough!!) Thankyou so much!! <3 best of luck to you too :) xx

Thank u sweetheart .. excited and nervous and half contemplating on holding off because I'm afraid I won't get my desired gender and this is our last :-( .. tomorrow is Friday 13th and our attempt so might be lucky for us .. who knows, I might have to have a few glasses of wine and go for it x

aww bless you, i dont wanna scare you or anything but that "fear" of getting an opposite will always be there no matter how long you wait.. holding off is only delaying the inevitable which is that you go for it and then have to hope that it worked!! waiting to see if your sway has worked after getting your bfp is so nerve wracking im not gonna lie!! but i still say go for it!! and wine is good for pink so might as well make a fun night of it haha :D we are all behind you 100% in hoping you get your little girl <3 wishing you all the luck in the world if you do decide to go for it and sending you pink dust, let us know what you decide :) xx

Haha, it's an account name I've used elsewhere online. "Throwaway" because other sites refer to 'throwaway' accounts when you don't want to have your real account associated with things (which I am super secret about with this! Very few know my GD) and "panther" because that was actually my very first internet handle back in the day -- I was using it as early as 11 11 online!

i love it!! :D no-one knows about my profile on here either, they also dont know that i swayed for my youngest and plan on doing so for all future babies, its not something i share with anyone (except my partner) let me know how things go with your thyroid issues, i really hope you can sort it all out asap and then go ahead with ttc <3 just wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts xx

CD22 here and now the latest I've ever ovulated. Not ttc this month but any ideas how to 'pop' this egg!!

Yes it was but I remember now we said to leave it out as hubby as low -medium sperm count so hasn't taken any .
