Thank you ladies, it really helps to know I'm not alone. I do pray alot and it really helps me, but it's just that I waited 10 years. TEN years to have the opportunity for another pregnancy. DH wasn't fully on board since he has a little one with his ex and it was a very bad experience for him, and that's understandable. This makes matters more sensitive for me, you know, having to convince your partner to get pregnant feels kind of bad. To me anyway.

So I have a sense of competition going on (I want our own boy together) as well as the pressure of getting pregnant and the fear of my reproductive system no working well due to no other pregnancies or sex in so many years (totally unfounded fear, I know). I have alot invested here and it's so easy for me to just loose my s*!t at this point LOL.

I dunno if it helps my sway, I feel like I'm scaring my egg away looooool!

Hi ladies, out of curiosity....why does stressing sway blue??

It's not stressing that sways blue, it's the type of stress that comes from trying to control things beyond our control that we feel the need/pressure to control.

There's an essay on this somewhere in the index talking about being a "Mary" or a "Martha" and the Trivers-Willard hypothesis. If you think that reading about being a control-freak would just make you be more of a control-freak about not being so much of a control-freak, I would advise you to just skip it and go watch a movie or something instead. ;)
The underlying point is just try not to get all obsessive about every little detail especially if you're swaying pink, but there's no point in worrying too much about your stress level as that's counter-productive.

... Speaking of obsessing, this 2ww feels much longer than any other 2 weeks in the history of waiting for things. Please someone talk me down off the ledge of wanting to POAS tomorrow as I'll only be 9dpo and have zero symptoms. This wait is murder. :poas:

I know the feeling. I have not even attempted bc ultrasound CD 10 showed my egg (on right side) only being 10mm.
They want them to be 18mm for ovulation so she predicted I'll ovulate on day 14-15 this cycle. I go back tomorrow to check status of egg. It will be cd13 tomorrow.
I am attempting more than one time this month after I get the green light from her tomorrow. They suggest one attempt the day before, day of ovulation and day after. This will give me 3 attempts in fertile window.. but since I've been ttc since July.. I'm ok with that!

I would totally poas at 9dpo on a cheapie! But I never get positives on those until like 13 DPO 😐
The tww sucks!!

And also can someone please explain how a mother of 3 isn't constantly stressed!? 😂 bc I always am. Lol!

I had zero symptoms too. Heck, I only have a couple- losing weight despite eating normally and thirsty. That's it.

I'm hoping you get your BFP soon, along with all of you lovely ladies! No one should have to wait so long!
