Happy birthday Lola! ☺ I hope you have a wonderful night!!
Kat- Congratulations on a healthy baby girl! ☺
Thanks momoffourboyz! I'm going to wing it abit. The spaghetti is cooked in the broth so I think I'll heat up about 1L and add a cup at a time until its absorbed and the spaghetti is cooked [emoji848]

Pbn- I think that would be a good idea to add as you go and see how much it absorbs so there isn't to much liquid.☺
Sorry you didn't hear boy kat. Glad DH and DD1 are excited for another punk bundle though!
Lola hope you had a ball for your birthday! :D
Kat, congrats on the healthy baby girl....I know you will love her unconditionally, as much as you will still need to "mourn " not having a son, and will be the awesomest mum to your girl tribe :) so nice dd1 and dh are so excited , that will wear off to you once the slight shock/disappointment is overcome. :hugs: I'm bracing myself for the same next week
Tell me about it lol I keep running scenarios of getting result in my head, preparing for one or the other..crazy huh?
For results probably good chance mid late next week? Will ring the GP office Wednesday am if nothing by Tuesday night ;) DD1 is due for her 4 y.o check up / shots so have to make an appointment so will use that as an excuse of "oh by the way while I have you on the phone, do you know if my Nipt results are in?!"
im glad it helped kat :) its the one thing that absolutely stands out about mums of all girl families for me, one woman who has carried 2 generations, you-your daughters-your grandchildren like a set of russian dolls
Sorry I'm behind again....so just catching up from the new thread onwards:
Mommy - Sorry it wasn't your cycle :( Have you been having CD21 blood tests while on clomid? To check that you're ovulating?
Kat - Sounds like a great plan with your leave. Lucky your DH is the director of childcare, would make life so much easier.
Shann - Great news on passing your blood tests! Sorry about the itching though....You're so close now!
Lola - Hope you had a great birthday! Enjoy your dinner. No name yet....I have just started thinking about some choices though. It's so hard though as I get sick of names, especially after teaching a child with a name I like.
Max - How lovely to have some time away. And super exciting to be moving!
LMSM - I don't think the double dipping thing has been enforced. It was thrown out I think due to too many complaints. I signed quite a few petitions. I had my blood drawn on a Tuesday and the results went to my Ob on Friday very late. Hope they come back soon! I rang Dorevich and asked them if they had gone through before ringing my ob. I also asked them to not tell me the sex on the phone and to email it instead, so then I could process instead of talking to the receptionist about it.
Ash - Love the bunks! Hope the boys like them and settle in well.
Dancing - great plan with your leave! We are lucky in Oz.
Sky - Wow the weather is so hot!!! Glad they can stay inside at school.
Kat - Sorry you didn't hear blue, but glad your girl is healthy x
Pbn3 - Hope the pasta worked out okay?
Maternity Leave - Wow I really feel for those limited with their leave. I'm in Oz too, so we are very lucky. Unfortunately, I left my permanent job as a teacher 5 years ago and took a job closer to home that was someone's maternity leave position (we have take off 5-7 years as a teacher, depending on the school system). I am at a private school, so they can just keep extending their position every 12 months. So I therefore, don't have a permanent position and won't get any paid leave from work. As I'm due in March, I will finish my position at the school mid December, before our big summer break of 6 weeks (which won't be paid). When school resumes at the very end of January, I won't have job to return to. Well this is what I believe anyway....when I tell my principal this week, I will enquire and see if they will give me some work during February which will help a lot financially. Once bub is born I will get the standard 18 weeks paid leave from the government and then I'll take the rest of the year off. I am really going to focus my energy on my business Wooden You Home - Wooden You and see where that takes me. I could easily earn $600-1000 a week, which is a fraction of what I get teaching, but we could get by. Sorry for the essay!
Thanks for all your congratulations! It's starting to sink in, but I'm hoping to get a good nub shot at my 12 week scan on Tuesday! I hope I have a good sonographer.
