Lol at the ham ice cream!! Things have been tasting weird to me too. I can eat chicken, but haven't been thrilled about red meat :/. Funny thing is, I've had cravings for one of the LE meals I would eat, that at the time I thought was way plain and kinda gross tasting lol!
I had another u/s this morning and we have a hb!!!! 122 bpm. I asked if the tech knew anything about the Ramzi theory. She said she didn't, but when I explained it a bit to her she said the baby was more towards the middle, but a little more to the left if that makes sense. I'm not putting any thought into it. I figured I'd ask just to get it out of the way...lol. And I'm pretty sick now too, and measuring exactly 6w3d. Hope everyone is doing well.

Thank you ladies!!! I'm finding this a bit overwhelming all of a sudden. My dh works 2 jobs and I'm just not feeling well. Making dinner isn't going to be fun.
Making dinner SUCKS with M/S which is why I don't do it...we get take out or my Dh cooks something.
Starting middle of yesterday my M/S pretty much vanished. I don't feel hungry or anything still and food makes me a bit queasy but I don't have that all day stomach flu feeling anymore! Lets hope it lasts! If it does it will be the earliest I have had m/s go away. With my first it was around 12-14 weeks and my last it was 28 weeks.

I get up this morning and my DH is sleeping in because he's taking a sick day, sore throat. I have to get myself ready for work and the kids for daycare. What do I find when I come down the stairs? Dog poo, now this is something that makes me want to vomit even when I am not pregnant and feeling queasy. Yuck
and I had a dream last night that I had a boy but I had already had a girl, what do you think this means?

bythe****** - great to see you here! Ew about the dog poo, would make me want to vomit normally too.. I would have made DH clean it. No idea about the dream but I don't really think they mean anything, I had dreams I had girls in my last 2 pregnancies but had boys so they were wrong for me.
I'm struggling today. I feel bad saying this because I haven't had any morning sickness but shift work and pregnancy sucks. I'm just so so exhausted and work has been crazy busy so I barely get a second to sit down, I'm just tired and emotional and any little thing is likely to set me off. Then to top it off I also now have a sore back and have to work again this afternoon. Work also don't know i'm pregnant yet but I feel like people are stating to wonder, I look pregnant already and i'm only 9 weeks so probably will have to tell them before I get to 12 weeks.
I'm really trying to enjoy this last pregnancy but it's hard at the moment. Also struggling with GD as everything feels the same as with the boys so i'm thinking this is another boy. Only 3 weeks until my NT scan but not sure if I want to get a nub picture or not, if it is no doubt boy I don't think I want to know!
I had my ultrasound this evening finally too! Finally got to see a heartbeat! Baby was just laying there until he started taking pics for me, then s/he rolled away from the 'camera' lol. But we got 6 pictures :) I was nervous at first bc the doc looked through my chart and said that maybe I would have twin girls to balance out the 2 boys I have lol. But thankfully there was only 1! I'll have my NT scan at 13 weeks 2 days so hoping for a nub shot. Then I booked my private scan for October 16th! So excited!
mrshonyez - Yay for a good u/s and about only being 1 in there. I'm nervous about 2 as well!
I can only imagine how hard shift work must be when pregnant Ruby. I think I would find it hard anyway pregnant or not. My mum used to do shift work but she had to stop because she couldn't handle it anymore.

Will you be having an ultrasound soon to find out Ruby? I had no real reason to think twins, just everyone kept joking about it. I am already showing but I assumed just from it being my 3rd, and my youngest is only 1. My beta levels were pretty high, so I'm just hoping that leans more girl for me ;)
I think when you're first pregnant people like to joke it will be twins just to scare you a little.
At least its not as scary as the woman here in Australia that had quintuplets last week. She was 48 conceived them naturally and has already had 12 other kids! Unfortunately one didn't survive :sad:
:( that's sad... But wow they must be really fertile!
bythe****** - I do love the job so it's all just part of it I guess. I heard about the quintuplets too, crazy!
mrshonyez - I'm having an u/s on 28/9 so in 3 more weeks, not long really. I don't know what my beta levels were but I have heard that high levels can sway girl.
I've just been looking at nursery linen and found a gorgeous girly one I want!

I've had people say before (when we said we were planning on having another baby) that we'd probably end up with twin boys - people are so nice aren't they?! xx

I would say have the scan to put your mind at rest, even if you see the nub it isn't guaranteed you will guess it correctly so you'll still have the surprise you want. xx
Mummypink - people have said that to us too. One reason we didn't tell people we were TTC. They seem to think it's hilarious.
Rosie - I'd go for the 12 week scan for reassurance, you can always tell them you don't want pics of the nub area.
I had a bit of spotting and cramps at work last night. Just when I wiped when I went to the bathroom. I'm really worried but it's Saturday so won't be able to get an u/s until Monday unless I go to emergency and wait for a zillion hours. Not sure what to do I've never had this before.
Sorry for the whine, but I'm really sick today. Can't keep anything down. I can't believe what 3 days can do. I really hope I have a little girl in here...lol.

The obs did some blood tests and a quick scan, baby was measuring 6w3d and he couldn't detect a heart beat. He wants me to go for another proper scan tomorrow just in case my dates are wrong and i'm actually only 6w and heart hasn't started beating yet. He thinks baby prob stopped growing at 6w3d though. Will know more tomorrow but am prepared for the worst. Just feel numb and shocked. So glad the kids didn't know about the pregnancy so we don't have to tell them the baby is gone.

I've just been to the bathroom and saw a small spot of red blood in my knickers, sorry for tmi but it was on some white cervical fluid that I'm still having a fair bit of which I think is due to the plug building up? There wasn't anymore blood when I wiped so I'm hoping that is a good sign?
I had the same thing when I was pregnant with ds1 and as today is the day I would normally have been due my af I'm trying not to worry about it. :(

OMG!!! I'm so sorry Ruby!! This is awful. I really hope dates were incorrect. If not, I hope you're ok. I know nothing I say can make you feel better. I've been through it before too. But I'm here to listen if you need or want to talk.
Mummypink I hope all is well with you. Since this has happened in the past, and it's happened to many women I know, I pray history is just repeating itself and your bean is safe and sound inside. Please keep us posted and I'll be thinking of you.

Not had any more today, my boobs are sore as hell and I feel really nauseous so I'm staying positive that it was just the same as I had last time. I've got a GP appointment next week anyway so I'll mention it, and if I have any more before my appointment I'll go to my midwife as they seem to be more sympathetic about arranging early scans.
Typical that within a few hours of telling my mil that I'm pregnant that I have some spotting, I didn't want to tell her until I got past 12 weeks as feels like we're jinxing it almost? With my second pregnancy we didn't tell anyone until I was 13 weeks and we heard the heartbeat and I had no spotting - typical!
