June 2WW

Hi ladies - I'm not sure whether or not I should join you yet since O is totally confusing me this month. This is my first month taking Vitex and also my first month no longer bf ds3 (he was only nursing once a day, though, so it wasn't a huge change). O normally comes on cd12, which was yesterday. Two days ago my OPKs started getting darker right on time, then suddenly went completely negative - like no test line at all. Since then, the test line has returned but is still quite light, so I'm hoping maybe just maybe I'll get a + later today. Cervix is very open and soft, so I'm hoping that's a sign that O hasn't arrived. My worry is that I somehow missed my surge and have already O'd.

I'm not worried about our attempt timing since we're doing frequent BD and have dtd every day since af ended, but I am worried about whether or not I should stop the Vitex and Saw Palmetto. If I stop it now just in case O already happened (though I don't think it has), will it affect my attempt should O actually come tomorrow or the next day?

Of course, my body is playing tricks on me. I feel like I have to pee about every 5 minutes, which has always been an early pregnancy symptom for me. My right breast is also really sore. Is it possible to still have a wide open cervix (like so far open I could stick a whole fingertip in there) and already have O'd? I don't temp so I can't use that as a back-up.

Mochagirl it sounds like your body was gearing up to O and then maybe didn't ... which would explain the opk's getting lines again. I would keep POAS to try to find that surge! My cervix closes up pretty soon after O; it has NEVER (in the 9 months I've been playing this game) stayed open like that past O. Sounds to me like your O is yet to come. Sorry your body is messing with you! These supps can be real buggers!

I posted on our team blue thread that I didn't test this am ... I had a dream this am (one of those where you wake up a minute and fall back to sleep, but think you're still awake so are SURE the dream is real, KWIM??) that I got a BFP this am, and I was really upset about it. So I decided just to forgo testing this am. I am conflicted about whether I want a BFP or not at this point! We only tried this cycle bc it was my bday and I was O'ing and it seemed fun, and I like the idea of being 33 still at delivery. But I'll miss out on some fun this summer if I'm pg now! AND .. this is the big part, I'm really a bit sad that this will be our last, so once it starts, I know I'll never get to do this again. And that is bittersweet. So anyhow... I think I can see bright sides to either outcome, BFP or BFN, but I just didn't want to test. Plus I'm only 9 DPO so really on the early side! We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning!

Thanks, Begonia - it was definitely a different experience from my induced 27 hour labour under epidural and emergency c-section I had with my twins! It was wonderful to feel good seconds after giving birth. I was home from the hospital 2 hours after he was born!

I think I agree that I haven't O'd yet. I think the vitex, SP and stopping breastfeeding have all conspired together to mess up my cycle :). I've been holding my pee all morning and am going to do another test soon. I even bought the expensive digital ones this time!

Yay, Yay, Yay! I just tested and got a big ol' smiley face so O must be coming soon! See you back here in a day or two, ladies!

Mochagirl that is fantastic!! I would say it was the Vitex doing it.. I have been taking it too it made me O a day early?? Anyway as for me i am about 3dpo and i keep getting niggle pains really low feels like it could be to the left side but then i think i can feel it on the right. I am not sure what it is and i am not sure if this usually happens to me after o. Oh well will see!

Pink it's so fun to obsess over symptoms!!! How exciting that you're feeling some stuff! I never feel any of it. My only symptoms really are exhaustion (but hello, who isn't when you already have kids) and the constant nausea since 5 dpo (but I'm thinking it is related to my allergies acting up) .... and just last night my bb's got sore. That clearly can't be allergies ;-)

For sure! I can tell you though that with DD2 we definitely had a LOT of BD'ing!!! I don't really know with DD1 as she was a BCP slip-up, but we were usually DTD every other day then.

Well Begonia funny you should say that i am 2 days behind you but my bbs are sore too! not really sore but a bit tender which is odd ...maybe i am trying to find things but i def keep getting cramps in my left side. I dont usually take any notice so it may be normal for me.. Especially since i did not have a very good attempt this month and if i got a bfp would be SHOCKED! would be bfp of the year ha ha ha ha. Anyway come on Mochagirl i cant wait to hear some of you symptoms too!!!

O usually comes in under 24 hours after a +, so I'll be joining you in your obsessing very soon!:bigsmile:

Well I'll be 10 dpo tomorrow but I think I'm going to keep on waiting it out. I don't know ... maybe I'll wake up in the mood to pee on something expensive and just do it, but right now I'm thinking I'd rather wait til maybe 12dpo. I usually spot pre-af starting 12 dpo so by then should know either way.

I usually get pains before I O, but not always when it actually happens.

I am still getting cramps on the left side... I dont know how it could be anything because i am only 3dpo. and kind of feels like i am getting af but then goes away. Begonia i will not be testing until about 12dpo aswell as i have long cycles on 31 days With ds my bfp only showed up the day i was due for af which was only a faint line and i had a chemical preg last month which i took a test when i was 2 days late for af and i had a pink line so i will be leaving it for a while otherwise i will be spending ALOT of money on tests when if there was a bfp wouldnt show up anyway! I am excited for you to test!! fingers crossed you get your bfp!

:gloomy: OMG I could have written this. ~bawl~ (((HUGS))) I too am so sad about this being our last. My hubby still thinks I'll try to twist his arm into ONE.MORE. but I really can't see us having anymore after #4(Only 2 kids rooms in our house and I really do want to pursue my passions- midwifery). I LOVE being pregnant, I LOVE giving birth and I love newborn, cuddly, lovey babies. I know that 9 months goes by so fast and I can see myself going late at the end simply because my body/mind won't want it to be done....I can see myself totally crying during labour because of that aspect. It makes me want to cry now! ~tears~ This is why I can have him do anything drastic until baby is 1 year...sterilization is a HUGE step. I'd love to talk to moms of 5 and see what they find the difference is between 4 and 5...hmmmm....LOL

Anyway, Weird dream!!! Hmmm...I wonder if this means you're knocked up? LOL When will you test? I hope that it turns out exactly as you'd hoped:)

AFM- I've been having weird twingy, stabby stuff going on in my uterus/cervix....Hmmmm. My cm is creamy, I have no clue what my temps mean...cause I've never done it before...LOL and I have a few zits:) Fantastic. I go from constipated to the runs in one day. 7 more sleeps until I test. ARGHHHH! That is forever! Where's my time machine! I wish I had a hot tub;)

Thanks DoulaMama I hope i have a chance !! How many dpo are you now?? I still have cramps sore boobs but it could all be to do with o only being 3 or 4 days ago... Hope i get some more symptoms this week! It already feels like forever for me which i guess it is i wont really be testing until the 4th of july!

I'm 6dpo tonight;) I think I ovulated in the evening on the 16th or very early hours on the 17th. If I test in 7 sleeps I'll be a full 12dpo which should be good enough for a + if I'm pregnant. Or I'll get AF on 11dpo which will save me a test;)
I honestly have ZERO problem not being pregnant this cycle.....I really want to go to that conference! LOL So, does that up my chances of being pregnant?....murphy's law seems to hit me when I'm down, most of the time...hahaha!

HA HA hmmmm yeah i think you will end up preg this month!!! Always the way isnt it!

Doula yeah because you are not bothered you prob will get PG this cycle. But let's stay positive.... It could be your girl in there!!! And I'm sure you would forgo the conference for a DD.

AFM 6.5 DPO (The half....Let's not forget it might be important he he) and feeling a bit crampy today! Let's hope my little bean is implanting as I write!

Hi, all. Just checking in w/all of you and sending BFP baby dust! Who will be the next to test? I say wait until you're 11 or 12 dpo and save yourself the stress if you can. Once you POAS, you'll find yourself doing it again and again and won't be able to stop! I just bought a bunch more OPKs and a few more HPTs online yesterday so I'll be armed....Now I've just got to do a lot of waiting until I can come back here.

jjc - I don't know about SP but I am taking Vitex. I noticed that when I was taking Vitex, my temps rose but when I stopped, they weren't high. I'm thinking you may need to take a test soon. Climbing temps at this point is certainly a good thing! I sooooo hope you get your sweet girl out of the blue!

Jjc I don't temp but I know when I have mucked around with Vitex I have suffered from terrible night sweats!! Good luck, hope you get the answer you are after!

OOTB I am testing on Monday (10dpo) I know it's early but I really won't be able to hold out much longer than that. I am too armed with IC and FRER so if I get a BFN I can keep testing until AF.

Oh.my.stars ... I haven't read to catch up and might not have time to do that before I have to leave to take DD2 to swim, but after 5 days of nausea and 2 days of sore boobs ... BFP this afternoon. I didn't test this am and wasn't planning on testing til 12DPO, but for some reason when we got home 20 mins ago I decided to POAS. And there it was.

Holy ^&$#!. I knew in my gut I was pregnant. I'm shaking right now ... I'll get to being thrilled I'm sure but right now I'm just still processing. Whoa. And I need a fun way to tell DH, any ideas?!?!

OK this was SO me, DM! And now that I am I am FREAKING OUT. I had convinced myself that it was better to wait after all so a BFN was going to be totally welcome, in some ways a relief ... but now it turns out I'm knocked up. Please join me :-)

Ok, I think I can officially join you ladies now. OPK was still + this morning, but now cervix is feeling a lot more firm and cm has become sticky/creamy. The 2WW is on. I ordered a bunch of cheapy tests because I tend to be a POAS addict. I got my BFP at 8dpo with my twins, but I recently went back to find my old post at IG because I thought I remembered having an early BFP with ds3 too, but it was 11dpo. Anyway, I'll be chomping at the bit to poas, because I'm going to eat the biggest, saltiest, protein-filled meal as soon as I see those two lines!!! :bigsmile:
