Because they aren't "making changes and some women just have them all throughout pregnancy". Aren't I lucky. I'll be going to my doctor if I don't feel any better and can't sleep. They are about a 4-5 pain wise. Uncomfortable but manageable. Just not able to sleep through it. You know?Quote:

Anyone else starting to feel very specific movement? I think I'm feeling like knees and elbows already. lol. The other night I think the baby was doing flips. I love the feeling. So cool! Later on though I remember it getting painful!
Not so much not really feeling kicks either just feels like pushing and sliding this may be because of the Position of the placenta though

22 weeks :) My placenta is at the top so I feel most of my really obvious movements in my lower stomach above pubic bone. Nothing visible on the outside yet but can feel it if you push a bit on stomach.
Hi ladies glad to hear everyone is doing good! I will be 33 weeks tmrw, I had a scan today and my baby girl weights 4 pounds 10 oz. she been measuring a few days ahead. I can't wait to have my daughter and bring her home, pregnancy is stressful and I hate worrying all the time, I became crazy! Also all that worrying I had with my cervix and my cervix is still and now is 4.27 cm long! Just a few more weeks to go
How is everyone doing on thinking of names? My husband is soooo difficult to even talk about the subject until near the end but I've been keeping a list :)

I'm doing fairly well for the most part. We finally found a name we liked! So that was so exciting! I was really starting to feel like baby was going to be "Quintus" (name him 5th since he's the 5th boy...) or simply "Boy".
Lots of stressors happening right now though, so feeling overwhelmed.
But excited to be in the last 2 months now! And wanting to start making up some freezer meals and wash all baby's clothes and blankets...he's going to be here before I know it, I feel!

Hi everyone. I thought everything was going smoothly. I'm now being admitted to hospital as I'm getting contractions and have just had my 1st lot of steroids 24 hours still the next 😢 cervix not doing anything yet but they want to develop baby's lungs just incase baby does decide to arrive early.
Swabs have been taken and I'm a little bummed that I may not be getting my home birth

When would they let you have your home birth? I believe here you can have a home birth from 37 weeks. 19 days.... Hope baby holds on for you till then!!

If the swab comes back I have strep I'm not allowed it.
I need to also get to 37 weeks which will be November 29th. And this day is my 2nd son's 10th birthday. 🙈so really need to get past then. Have another growth scan on December 1st. But 5
Then my 2nd son has an operation on December 8th argh

Hi Ladies. I will soon be 25 weeks. Had my dr appointment this past Monday. Baby still breech and heartbeat was 153. Got the results back from my many ultrasounds and all is normal. Baby measuring 4-5 days small which is a first for me. Weight gain has stopped for me in the last few weeks. I am not any more hungry now than I was before pregnancy and I have a ton of acid reflux now so hard to eat large amounts. I'm still sleeping like a log so hope that continues! So exciting that a few of you are so close to holding your babies! I've still got a long way to go!
Just got a call from the Dr. Apparently I have a bladder infection. :P
Aww pinkhelp was just about to say thats brill until i saw bladder infection. Ouchy. Hope ur bettr soon. Guessing baby will turn on its own from breech ? Still plenty of time eh? My babys been head down all the way thru which i thought was strange. In 25 weeks too now & starting to really feel heavy & uncomfortable. Got consultant app in 3 weeks where theyl see what im measuring + if i need a growth scan or not.!! Looking forward to that ha ha

Can you just not consent to the strep b test? I plan to refuse it as I don't want antibiotics and I'm also planning to homebirth so I'm not sure if it would mean I couldn't.Quote:

With my first I tested posititve to the swab and they forgot to give me the antiboitics in labour as it was quite fast. With my 2nd I had a planned homebirth with an independent midwife so it was easy to say I didn't want the swab and she was happy with my choice. I don't trust the swab as the strep b status can change and also it can give false positives, I have heard of someone not actually swabing anything thing and it came up positive!

I find it weird this baby has been head up all the time. My others were almost always head down or at least head to my hip etc. I get crotch kicks now sometimes! lol...Ya it's a bummer about the bladder infection but it's gotta be fairly minor because I didnt even notice. They discovered it at my last dr appointment. :)

Picked up moses basket from my cousing yesterday on my day off. So far wev bn so luck with getting given moses basket, carseat & pram all free of charge from family . Albeit 2nd hand but such good condition. Saved us a fortune. Just need 2 buy a cot, mattress,bedding & bouncer, oh & bottles then wer sorted

My baby has been in a super weird position today and it's causing tons of BH contractions and I'm feeling a but of rectal and vag pressure. Nothing painful. Baby feels sideways maybe and in my ribs....Hoping baby goes back to a comfortable position soon. My belly feels like it's going to burst and rip. I have a horrible stretching skin feeling today....Fun times!! I can't believe I still have so far to go. I'm going to be a WHALE!
Hi everyone I'm 36 weeks now, I have a scan on Monday and I'm thinking group b test will be done. I been having a lot of false contractions throughout the day, they are a pain, I'm hoping my baby girl is born by the end of the month. I am exhausted and taking care of my other 3 kids and dealing with these darn pains I am so ready. Glad to hear everyone is doing good! Time goes by fast soon will be holding our babies! Oh and I feel so darn fat
Hi. I'm doing good. Tons of contractions but it's the norm now. She was breech at 31weeks. I'm 33 now. I had my baby shower and it went great. I have everything she needs, just need to wash it all and set it up but I literally have no motivation and want to sleep. I'll have another scan at 36wks to see if she is still breech. If so, acupuncture and moxibustion are in my future. I refuse to do manipulation.

Why not try moxibustion and acu now? When my ds3 was breech, I did everything possible leading up to ultrasound at 37 weeks. Started at 30weeks hoping to turn him. The bigger they get, the harder it is for them to turn.... He did flip eventually. Good luck!!!Quote:
