That would mean she would be 6w1d then if conception occurred on the 29th.

Very confusing hey! All I can think of, is that the embryo is just not growing?? I don't know :(
When do you get your results?
Maybe the dates are a little off, try not worry. I know, easier said than done.
So gestational age is 5w2d and fetal age is 4w1d, usually fetal age is 2 weeks less than gestational age, so your measurement should have been 3w2d, so i think it is growing just fine, actually growing great.
No there was only a Gestational Sac found measuring 4w 1d. Nothing else, no yolk or anything. Just a very very small looking sac.
Hey! I hope I'm not butting in here.... this thread just peaked my interest because I went through this same thing with our youngest son :)
TTC5 - I had the exact same thing happen with our youngest son. Ultrasound measurements were off. I had about 8 ultrasounds in the first trimester as result of that and bleeding. I had one that said I was due March 5th, then another one a week later saying I was due March 17th, and therefore had me thinking the embryo hadn't grown, etc. My midwife however, explained to me (in all my panic and confusion!) that these ultrasounds are not an exact science. At that early stage, they are measuring something the size of a grain of rice - they measure in mm. So, if at 5 weeks the baby should be 4mm, and at 6 weeks the baby should be 8mm, you have to take into account the fact that the little cursor on the ultrasound (they put a cursor at each end of the embryo to measure it) is a mm thick itself, which can make it up to 2mm off in either direction. Also, if the embryo isn't facing perfectly lengthwise, they could be taking a slight cross section, which woud be smaller than if they were able to measure perfectly from head to toe. Does that make sense? I hope it helps ease your fear..... I remember being such an emotional disaster for weeks thinking the baby wasn't growing and I was going to miscarry. He's great now though, and turns 1 next month ;) Good luck :)
