Yes for sure junie! I can only rely on them bc I have very obvious ovulation, with so many reliable signs other than an opk.

I personally change the garlic every night. I use 3 big cloves each cut in half so the juices have plenty of contact.
If you rub garlic on your foot you can taste it in your mouth. It's crazy!
I have SO much EWCM today that I'm wondering if I really did O. I haven't had so much EWCM since before I started swaying. but I do feel warmer and my temp rose...
I can't always use CM as a guide like some you ladies. Mine seems to vary when I get any and the consistency. The only thing I can rely on is temping.
Before swaying my CM was much more reliable.

Cm, yes, that's the hot topic today. Apparently you need to use the Creighton Model and measure the properties of it in a scientific and standardized way. I'm back from my appt and that's what I learned. She was nice, but basically she told us we need to take classes on charting the Creighton way and do that for a few cycles. She says opks aren't as good as charting and I don't need to use them. She suggested Fertile CM, without really asking what I'm taking or what I've tried already. I was not impressed. She probably wasn't impressed with me either since I refused a pelvic exam. Seriously, on a first meeting? Um, no. And no way I want to ruin my chances with o this week. I asked her what she would learn from it, and it didn't seem worth it. And in answer to my other questions, propping hips does nothing and Preseed can help you with bding if you need help to get going, but it doesn't carry the sperm.
So no blood tests until we've charted cm the "proper way" and then she might look at my hormone levels. What happened to a thyroid check? I thought that was standard. I got nothing, just some business cards for other people to see.
So sorry your appt was a bust sageviolet! I would be a little upset they wouldn't do bloodwork, what does that hurt them??? Keep you chin up!

OMG! Seriously! WTF! Yeah, I think you made the right call. Is there anyone else you can see, or is this the only place your insurance will cover? I would try someone else before continuing with that office! I would be pi$$ed!
Hang in there sweetie! I'm [emoji120]that you get a BFP with all my blue dust!

Same here. I've been charting most of my adult life and my CM is not helpful in predicting O. In my twenties I had so much all the time, and since swaying things have been very erratic. The only thing I can usually rely on is my CM drying up and turning creamy, but that can happen on O day, the day after O, or 2 days after O so even that isn't exact. Only temping is truly reliable for me.
sage, I am SO sorry your appointment was so pointless! Unfortunately I have found that good drs are rare. Many of them are idiots, have bad attitudes or both. I think drs should listen, be sympathetic and open-minded, and open to suggestions. If the patient pays, why should they care if we want bloodwork done? Often I think it's an ego/power trip thing; they deny bc they can. I definitely wouldn't be returning to her. Maybe an RE would be the way to go, especially if you can see one recommended by someone you know and trust?
Are you using PreSeed every time you BD?
I saw a Dr who once taught Creighton and she didn't believe in taking temps at all ( before I started temping ). I found Creighton so confusing and finding temping so much easier to work out when I ovulate. Even she found it difficult to work out when I ovulated based on my cm charting. She sent me for blood work and internal ultrasounds and now that I'm temping I realize her timing was completely off. Unfortunately based on my experience I'm not a big believer in that system...

Coconut oil is also great for yeast infections. Make sure you get organic. For skin yeast infections, I use tea tree oil with it. Vaginally you can use a tiny amount of tea tree or lavender or both. Mix really well with the coconut oil & refrigerate until solid. If you have bullet shape ice **** trays, you can put plastic on the tray & make oil bullets to insert easier.
Be very sparing with the essential oils (like 1 or 2 drops to 1 tbsp coconut) until you know how many drops are comfortable for you.
If you're pregnant, look into the safety of the essential oils during pregnancy & only use if you feel comfortable. The woman I got the recipe from used them during pregnancy, but only you know your own comfort level.
Btw, I guess no one had an opinion on if the OPK I posted a couple days ago was positive? It was this one http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...57524e2571.jpg

Sorry, I never saw it earlier but it looks positive to me. What do you think?
