Ttc the csection rate may by higher in your area if that's what they're doing but the average for the US is 24%. Doctors won't even mention it here until you're nearing your 40th week, discomfort isn't enough for them to do it. I would have loved an induction at 39 weeks with my last because of the sciatica and falling all the time (even fell down the steps 4 times) because of it but it wasn't enough for my doctor. He was even reluctant to do it at 40w5d because he said they don't like to do it before 41 weeks but my 41 weeks was on a weekend and I started crying because nothing relieved the pain in my back in front of him.
Lmsm - How exciting DH felt her! I've been waiting for my girls to be able to feel her too but she kicks when they are sleeping or not around. I think I might let them stay up just a bit this weekend so maybe they can catch it.
