You've been on my mind all day Ruby. I'm really sad to read this news. I'm sorry this has happened to you, and will keep you and your dh in my thoughts.
Thank you all so much it really helps to know we have so many lovely ladies thinking of us.
It's all over now I came home from hospital at 11:30pm last night. The pain leading up to the d&c was incredible, kind of like early labour which surprised me, they gave me the choice of having the d&c or not but I just wanted it over with. All went well apparently and I feel a lot better now just a bit sore.
So it looks like I'm out but hopefully back on the TTC wagon as soon as possible, will see my dr in a week to talk about it though. I'll still be following you girls and hoping like crazy you all get your desired genders.

So....I don't think I can wait until birth to find out the gender. I think we decided to find out and do the gender reveal cake party thing with our family. Eek! I hope I can get some clues at my 12 week U/S so I can prepare myself for a boy cake.

Rosie I'm the same....totally planned on team green till I had my 12wk scan now I am driving myself mad lol! U could very well see girlie bits at your scan and then u will be just like me nubsessed lol! I'm not even convinced its a nub now on mine cos if u look at babys belly there is a similar looking thing on there! If only hubby would pay for gender scan I could find out nxt wk ahhhhh! Xx

Yeah I will be just like you and become nub obsessed. DH gets so annoyed because I don't stop talking about gender related things. I keep bringing up my eye veins, the ramzi thing, the future nub shots, my sway. I think he wishes I would just shut-up! haha. I really truly think you are having a girl Home!! That looks like a nub to me and it's pointing down and forked. Girl Girl Girl! haha

This is one of the sites...there is another link right on this one in the first post. There is also stuff elsewhere about the v-shape vein--just remember that is with the opposite eyes.
Sadly enough the veins under my eyes are a mess! I can't figure out if I have either type! haha Go figure...
I also did read somewhere that someone said it only works later on in the pregnancy but then others said it doesn't matter...so who knows!
Ha I tried looking but I have so many veins under my iris it was making me dizzy looking :)
Mine too Home! I can almost make out what looks like fish hooks in my right eye but they kind of cross over each other so I'm not sure.
I do know what you mean about men not caring as much about the fender. Dh doesn't understand why we stress out about something we have no control over. I guess he is kind of right but at the same time we can't help it!! He has always wanted a girl and has had dreams about one since before our first. I hope his dream baby girl comes true for us. He said she had brown curl hair and blue eyes!

Well yours would correlate with both, the left v for a girl and the right fish hooks for a girl so I would say for sure a girl! You lucky ducky!

Very interesting! I have just 1 J shaped vein at either 5 or 7 (whichever is closest to my nose lol) on my right eye, and a V shape also closest to my nose on my left side. Hopefully that means girl??
So I feel like I'm going a little crazy... At what point did you ladies feel movement with each of your pregnancies? I was 17w5d with my first, 12w5d with my second, and I swear I've felt a few little taps like the baby jumped or something, just to the left of the middle halfway up to my bellybutton. I borrowed a doppler from a friend and the heartbeat was in the same place. I'm only 11 weeks tomorrow! Could it be possible already?
Had a big bleed and cramping this morning :sad: was going to the doctor this afternoon anyway I think she'll probably confirm baby is gone.
