Well, belief plays a large role here. Expect the best and prepare for the worst is a good way to tackle this in my opinion. If you pray, ask God to grant you that which your heart desires. You've done your part and you leave the rest to him. Taking action when we ask for something is a huge part. We can't just wish for things and do nothing. Now that we've put our best effort, it's time to enjoy the next step.

I like what business said, to prepare for your son's arrival. This is part of belief and trust. I personally purchased a sippy cup for my son. I actually purchased a 2 pack and gave one to his big brother and saved the other one for him. I also chose his name as well as a name for his sister, in case she arrives first. :)

I await my egg now... :D

I sleep with a boy's onesie under my bed to try and attract blue vibes!! Hoping it pays off!!

CD 24 and Im having ovulation pain for the third day now ,
Soo un comfortable , so I guess I didn't ovulate before !
I ordered OPKs , I want to be sure when I ovulate in the coming cycles !

I found EWCM today and my cervix is up high. I also had a big dip today but all OPK's are negative so far. We'll see what happens :D

Hi just wondering what you did in terms of BD pattern before a positive O. Want to TTC in April if possible its all very confusing. Wondered if you have a little break down of some tips? Thanks

Hi Hopesforaboy. We're not currently ttc so just going from what I've read. You want to BD every other day (that's every 2 or 3 days depending on who you ask) from when AF finishes. Any more or less than this is supposed to reduce sperm quality/count which sways pink. My understanding is you need to track O using an opk or other method and then BD 3 times in that fertile window. Then after that continue to BD every other day. Good luck with you sway.

Ahhhh! So I'm on CD5 and I've started getting a sore throat today! Great! Hope I'm over it by my attempt if I'm going to get a head cold!
I usually don't O until CD19-24 so I'll definitely be over it by O time but will being sick at the start of my cycle sway pink?
Also DH has just started eye drop antibiotics and oral antibiotics for a week due to a bacterial eye infection (so I'll be cd13 when he finishes, a week or more roughly from O) will this affect my sway as well you think?
Finally got to my month and we both start of the cycle with issues!

One of reasons that made me postpone my attempt this cycle is that DH and I were sick , we are almost over it now !

But I don't think that you have something serious to make it sway pink !

I'm not one for OWT/supernatural stuff, which is whyI like this site -- more or less science based swaying. But I do have a boy's onesie under our bed, which I bought when pregnant with my DD in a fit of ennui. We've had our boy's name for years -- we don't even talk hypothetically of "future son" but very specifically by his name!

Having to wait until my thyroid levels are stable is part of the bummer feeling -- I can't even try lest I have another M/C. It's hard to see women discover they're having boys with even later due dates than my first loss :(

I should add, too: I got my period FIVE days early for the first time in my entire life. Two periods in one month! It came along with all of this "boy" stuff around me, and because January has been SO hectic and crazy for me, I realized it was only my first period after my chemical, so no wonder my cycle was wonky (though I O'd at my normal time). Definitely was a multifaceted bummer to have an early period then realize I'm still only now coming out of the miscarriage cycle, and then see all of the happy blue around me.

If I go back to normal after this (since my period's always been like clockwork... including after having my DD, haha), I'll take heart in an OWT for you guys ;) I might O solidly in a full moon, haha (though every O post-DD has still been "boy moon" territory).

Its great Panther , it's better to wait more after miscarriage :)

So my husband loves his daily showers. Cold ones at the gym and normal (not too hot) at home. Depends what day of the week it is..does a daily shower sway more pink?

@panther, waiting longer after mc is better for blue I assume. I hope you get your levels sorted soon. I also have hypo and after this past month, I decided to up my dose of desiccated thyroid, just in case. I know it takes a few weeks for an increase to show, but even at 2 weeks, it seems to be helping :)

@meaob, I think as long as he's not dunking his jewels in extreme temperatures, its fine. Showers are not the same as baths, so I don't see how they would be affected.

AFM, it looks like I O'd! I can't believe how much of a breeze this O was. I hardly had a symptom, except I felt both of my ovaries in action this time around, which is rare. I should get crosshairs on my chart tomorrow, God willing, but FF will have my O day wrong. I'm pretty certain I O'd last night since I still had a bit of ewcm this morning along with a high cervix and hot flashes (last night).

We got 5 attempts in total, today being the last one. We'll see what happens! 8 years of waiting is far too long u_u.

AFM , I had lots of things going on , on my ovaries for the past few days, I was in such pain today , I don't know what caused this , is it ovulation or something else ? And being bloated is so uncomfortable :(
My OPKs arrived I will check tomorrow , although Im sure it will appear negative

So we're going to skip this cycle on atomic's advice because of DH being on antibiotics and fighting an eye infection which has also affected his ears, nose and throat too. Poor guy.
So looks like I'll be TTC the next cycle now.

I think I'm in the 2ww now. All fertile signs are gone. I had to skip my temp today because the thermometer was set to celcius and by the time I got it back to fahrenheit, I had been awake 40 minutes lol.

I'm hoping to keep myself actually busy this 2ww, last month was terrible.

DH wants to postpone , he wants us to travel and enjoy some freedom
Before having more kids or even getting pregnant
I mean we can manage it with 2 , but 3 and more , I don't think that I will be able to leave the house lol

So I'm not sure , I gained weight , and I put an effort on this diet..it hard to wait lol

Well here's the thing, even if you get pregnant, there is no guarantee that you stay pregnant. That's one thing I had to make my DH understand. We have to make room for that. Men seem to be ALOT more wishy washy about getting pregnant and they don't seem to truly understand the amount of effort taken to sway as well as time sensitivity when it comes to ovulation and intercourse lol.

I have also put on alot of weight and I have eaten VERY mindfully. My metabolism did speed up alot and my bbt is much higher, so its a positive change, but I cannot continue to put on weight. It will eventually affect my ovulation.

Business, I highly suggest you just go for it and worry about the rest later :)

As for me, Ovulation is definitely confirmed and now I'm enjoying some pineapple in hopes it helps implantation :)

If AF arrives, I will see about it
This month I ovulated late because of the meds
So I guess AF should be late too


Also DH still getting sick , he is a big baby who never takes his meds , he takes antibiotics for 2 days and never finish the course , that's why he keeps getting infections ,
And this is an additional cause to postpone

I'm operating under the principles that high hormone (estrogen and testosterone) equals boy and low hormone equals girl, so been doing the HE diet pretty strictly for 3 months and weight lifting and monitoring T levels and E levels(T slightlyincreasing), however still BFing 14 month old DD twice daily.
Was going to TTC this month but decided to have another monitor month, and got 6 positive opk's in a row starting CD 22 none before and none after. Never had this before. Anyone know how this sways? From my lit search it appears to result in pink according to the James theory that high gonadotropin levels (LH) around ovulation result in more girls. Thoughts?

Business, I totally understand with being frustrated with a sick DH! I'm even going to skip the next cycle too - DH never gets sick and he's been having super high temps and has not been in a good way at all the last few days. So I'm going to forego this cycle and the next for his sperm to recover and his energy for BDing every other day. Hope your DH gets better soon!

Cosmo, I've put on weight too. 2.5-3kgs (not sure what that is in pounds?) I hate it but I keep thinking of my boy.

Btb - welcome! In regards to your final question about high LH levels swaying pink. I honestly have no clue?

But just wanted to update that I swayed boy , am currently 12 weeks and the sneak peek blood test came back girl :/ I followed the swaying religiously too :( but I've come to terms with it . However , I have heard bad things about the sneak peek test so I am going to wait until my scan to confirm and put it on the spreadsheet.

Thank you ! I don't have an actual date yet but my NT scan should be Wednesday or Thursday next week . I'll be 13 weeks . I will be scheduling a gender confirmation at 15 weeks but hoping a nub shot next week will give me a good clue :)

Sure :)
I started the HE diet in July and got pregnant my November cycle. Was eating 2200-2400 calories a day .
Took Prenatals , wheatgrass, potassium , & coq10 daily
Was on antibiotics for a sinus infection from the month prior .
Dh took coq10 and a multi
Dh only wears boxers
Avoided bd'ing if dh was hot or overworked
Dh wasn't smoking or drinking
I don't smoke or drink
We had 3-4 attempts in the fertile window .
Used preseed all but 1 attempt.
Tried to up positive ions (laptops , cell phones)
Ovulated from right side (not sure if that's true or not to sway)
Lots of potassium (shakes , food, and supps)
Tried to stay stress free

I'm sure there's more im not thinking of but I'll update if so !

I hope it is a scan and is wrong ! Lol but I'm learning to accept it if it's not . My insurance doesn't cover those other tests because I'm only 27 and not high risk . And without it they said it could range from $200 to $2,000 ! So I didn't wanna end up with an outrageous bill . Figured sneak peek would be a low cost option but now I'm wishing I had waited ! Lol

Of course the cycle we were going to try but DH got sick, I get days of EWCM. Question - today found some very little brownish tinge in my stretchy EWCM that's starting to turn slightly tacky. Could this mean I ovulated?

You won't know for sure until a few more days, but take very detailed notes so you are more ready next cycle :)
