It wasn't even my Dr, Somehow I ended up booked in with another Dr. He said - we usually give it a year, I said yes but it's my age, I'm 38 now. No response. I really think once they find out you have 5 kids they don't care.

I'm sorry babybeau. I thought once you were 35 they would consider treatment after 6 months due to age?

My DH's semen analysis results came back and he has a count of 99 million! Anyone know if this is considered higher than average? I read 15-300 million is "normal", but that's a huge range!! Trying to decide if we will have DH release shortly before our 1 attempt. With our m/c in August, we got pregnant with an O-2 attempt with him releasing on his own 14 hours before attempt. So I'm thinking we need to do that again maybe with even less time in between. Thoughts?

That's what's supposed to happen, even says so on the nhs website! I was going to make an appointment to see my own Dr but I think I'll wait. Dh has been referred for an S.A. so maybe if that comes back ok (which I doubt ) I'll go back.
Hello! I finally figured out how t log back into Tapatalk lol..
AF arrived for me on holiday so I am out of the waiting game! Which although initially disappointing is good as I had not properly swayed yet.
Greydore you get to sway a bit more now too at least if you missed this cycle !
Congrats to the positives and good luck to everyone else. I'm going to wait til dec/Jan now.

Hi Frankie! Hope you had a great holiday! I may wait too if this isn't my cycle. I really don't want an August baby but I'm also impatient so we'll see.

Hey all, hope I can still jump in here! I'm on CD36 of my very first cycle after my coil and it's been a weird one. FF has finally given me solid crosshairs and decided I ovulated on CD28 putting me at 8dpo today. I'm already going crazy with symptom spotting!
I had a massive temp drop yesterday on 7dpo and a tiny (tiny tiny tiny) bit of spotting and cramping, and now that my temp has risen back above the coverline I can't stop wondering if it meant implantation! Problem is I don't know what's normal for me as this is all uncharted territory (pun intended!) as I've never tracked anything before. I half believe that my body is just trolling me and I didn't even ovulate at all (it's DEFINITELY not a clear chart).
I've spent hours googling (honestly I got so little work done yesterday) and I know that temp dips can happen around this time whether you are pregnant or not, but sheesh... taking so much willpower not to start testing already!
My Ovulation Chart
Plasticserenity a dip like that below coverline IS something to get excited about from what I've seen over the past few years..... especially combined with some minor spotting/tinged cm. You could start testing tomorrow if you're not opposed to potentially wasting a test. If this is indeed a sign that implantation has happened you'd see a faint line by 2-3 days later, sometimes the following day, everyone's body/pregnancy is different. I will look forward to watching how this plays out over the next few days....

Oooo Pbn3 you're fueling my excitement! I have a whole bunch of internet cheapies so I'm not opposed to wasting tests at all. My aim was to try and hold out until the weekend to test but not sure I will make it that far.
When I told my OH that little eggy might have nestled in yesterday (he's way less of a nerd about TTC than I am, he's happy for me to play with graphs while he does his part of BDing on command :D) he just said "so shouldn't you take a test then, doesn't it tell you straight away now?". I wish it was that simple haha!
I got a + the day after temp dip with dd5! good luck!
My goodness that's so fast, the day after! I'm starting to feel like maybe I will do a sneaky test tomorrow. I will just have to prepare myself for disappointment just in case, it is still early days!
I had a big temp dip with my second son! One caveat is that I don't temp otherwise, so I'm pretty sure they happen on non pregnant cycles as well. But your symptoms sound very promising!!

That's interesting Greydore!
I've been reading around the 'implantation dip' and the facts I'm clinging to most are what I read on the FF study - they looked at over 100,000 charts. Out of those that showed a dip around 7ish dpo (only 34% of all charts), about two thirds of them resulted in pregnancy, and one third didn't.
So until I learn otherwise, I'm telling myself I have a 67% chance to be pregnant!
I believe I can stop testing now!! Oh just seeing those words!! Eek!! [emoji7]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...c4333f2ac1.jpg

Love it Mommy!!
Just wondering, has anyone had cycles that were shorter/lighter any month/s?? I know that swaying pink can cause this but obviously I'm not a pink swayer!! Bit worried :/
Thanks bbb! I'm rooting for you sweetheart, I know how bittersweet it is to watch the cycles go by, the lord is going to bless you! I feel it!

That's my chart with dd5
Plasticserenity - welcome! I had a miscarriage in August but with that pregnancy, I had a very clear implantation dip at 9 dpo. At 7 dpo I would def say it's a great sign for you!!!!
M2A - YAAAY for the word "Pregnant"! Definitely confirmed now :) :)
BBB - I've had lighter, shorter periods swaying pink, but I also feel like I've just gotten lighter periods as I've gotten older (they were pretty heavy when I was younger!) And I've always had very short cycles even before swaying - as short as 21 days!! Maybe this was just a random thing for you this cycle.
Frankie welcome back!! Sorry AF found you but glad you have more time to work on sway!
So I'm on day 3 of "high fertility" on dual OPK. Bleh. I'm also testing w/ regular Clear Blue OPKs too. On day 12 of my cycle so surge should come soon but I'm getting impatient. Maybe the Clomid will push things back a little. Also - my stomach really is messed up right now. I had a bout of very random (sorry TMI) diarrhea yesterday morning and a few loose stools and stomach pain since then. Not sure if it's a stomach bug or my IBS flaring up. It's likely the latter - I'm prone to IBS and I've been trying to do more fiber & Miralax lately which has probably thrown things out of wack. Ugh.
Anyone have any thoughts on my post yesterday about DH's sperm count and if we should have him release before attempt? I don't know what to do! I feel like 99 million sperm count is pretty high and could hurt our girl sway!
Hey all!! I didn't I realize there was a 2ww board and have been posting on the TTC GIRL on by accidents!! Whoops! Congrats on all who got their BFPS and baby dust to everyone still working on it!!!
This is my second month TTC. Last month we had one attempt at a digital positive which I actually think was a false negative. I ended up having a 30 day cycle that month and a 27 day cycle the month prior. I have been totally inconsistent since doing the LE diet and don't know my body anymore.
This month I used regular opks. I had two that I saw positive. One on cycle day 17 and one on cycle day 19. 18 was negative. Cycle day 17 I only t eyed with fmu because I ran out and had to wait for my new pack to arrive in the mail. Cycle day 19 was fmu and all I could take because I was traveling that day. The day in between on cd 18 was negative with FMU afternoon and night urine all with proper holds. I also couldn't test until cd 20 at night because I was out of town and that was very Strong almost positive and then the next morning was positive.
Very confusing I'm sorry.
After that they went negative and all signs went away. I had good attempts around all possible ovulstion days.
On CD 27 I had some cramping and I was confused. I took an OPK and got a blazing positive like I've never seen. The test line was beyond darker than the control almost black. I've tested three times a day for the last 3 days and they've all stayed that dark each and every time.
If that were a premenstrual surge would t have gone away yet? I am getting BFNs on FRERS. One did have a faint line 24 hours later...but it was out of the time frame.
I'm now CD 30, which is when I got my period last month and I've been cramping since last night. Still no sign of AF. Wondering if you ladies have any insight or if this has happened to you before. I do not temp...yet lol. Thanks!!
I'm 12 dpo and still no positive. I should definitely have one by now right? And you can be honest, I won't be heartbroken [emoji6]

Abc I completely missed your post about Dh!! Is that number per ml or total ?
Greydore do.you temp? How long is your lp usually?
Hi blushingbaby! If AF doesn't come maybe test tomorrow??
BBB I don't know if doc said total or per ml but he did say "Normal is above 20 million and your husband's is 99 million", so, I'm thinking that meant per ml. M2A I asked Atomic on another thread but she hasn't responded yet. She and I have both said that I'm being really "control freaky" about the sperm count thing and that stressing is terrible for my sway - it's just the one element I'm really hung up on. Not worried right now about my diet, exercise, I'm not bothering w/ antihistamines or gels, etc. But I think this all stems from the fact that DH and I are just clearly very fertile - we got pregnant on the first try w/ our 2 boys and second try w/ our m/c in August. My tests last month all came back as normal and now DH maybe has a "higher than average" sperm count - so clearly, we're still very fertile! Also b/c of my vaginal prolapse, I have a lower sitting cervix (ie shorter path for the sperm to travel!), I make lots of EWCM, and my cycles are so super consistent and have not changed much at all in all my months of swaying. So I feel like we have to do a last minute reducing of his sperm count for our attempt to up our chances of a girl. Ugh I don't know - I am stressing about this. I know getting Clomid this cycle was a big win, but I feel like it might be more effective if I'm on it for a few months first so I also think that if we do take the approach of DH releasing shortly before our attempt this cycle and it doesn't work, I wouldn't be too disappointed b/c I will get Clomid again next month and that will be the 2nd month on it, which may be better for my sway. On the other hand, I'm sick of waiting, sick of the sway diet & so much exercise, and just want to be pregnant. I also feel like the past few weeks my diet and exercise have been really strong and maybe this, w/ being on Clomid, is really my month to get my baby girl!
Yup - I'm over-stressing right now :)
As far as DH doing a quick release though before our attempt, there is this study that was done that shows doing that may actually up our chances of conception: Having sex twice within an hour TRIPLES men's fertility | Daily Mail Online So that makes me think we should try a hurry up release this month. I know - from personal experience w/ DH :) - that it will reduce the amount of semen he releases & thus likely the number of sperm, but according to this small study that was done, even if it reduces sperm count it may actually up the chances of conceiving b/c the sperm will be fresher/more mobile.
Hopefully atomic will answer soon., I asked a couple of questions yesterday that havent been answered yet either so she must be really busy.
I'm the same stressing out. I'm online 'researching' hcg, trt and sperm count until my head feels like it will explode:(
Abc hang in there! I've had between 2-5 days with flashing smiley so don't be concerned and just think of it as your egg preparing for release for that much longer and clomid is giving your body a really good o!!! I clearly remember my first cycle on clomid and the difference at o time. I got to a point I was very uncomfortable like I was going to literally burst [emoji23] it lasted a whole day from memory and defiantely peaked. The following cycles weren't near as bad so I think the response settled down once it (clomid) was in my system. Not saying you'll experience the same as everyone is different but may be a sign if you start feeling a tightness. As for you dh sperm count, from memory he'd released the same day as you bded your bfp cycle? Have I got that right? If you were wanting to do the same could you have him release the morning you get a solid smiley and have your attempt that night? Or have him start releasing daily now until go time? I didn't read that study you linked sorry but from every study I've read it takes 48 for swimmers to reach maximum health again which is why eod during fertile window is the go to for couples ttc instead of every day which lessens your odds as hubbys supply doesn't have time to renew to max load/health.
Blushingbaby almost all opks bar the Clearblue dual hormone digis cannot be used with fmu as they can result in a false positive. Did your opks come with instructions? Usually the recommendation is to test between 11am (at the earliest) to 3/4pm. Most test between 1-2pm. The fact you had an opk with test line darker than control line is a good sign. Maybe try and do a 1pm test next to get an idea. Opks will stay positive if they are picking up hcg rather than lh however you would have a decent line on a hpt by the time an opk would be doing this.
Going back to have a propee read as I just skimmed before...
Mommy2apples as per our private conversation congratulations beautiful lady [emoji8]

12dpo is usually a good day to determine if you're going to get a bfp or not IF you are using a sensitive/early result hpt, but there's still hope for a late implanter [emoji120] It's never truly over until af arrives. How's the chart looking? Can you post a screenshot? You use kindara right?
Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
Plasticserenity how long until you test? And yes you can easily expect a bfn this early but a very faint line is possible.

BBB how incredibly frustrating [emoji30] On a good note though its great dh is getting an SA done as at least you'll know for sure how things are looking and maybe they aren't as bad as you're thinking fx fx fx [emoji120][emoji120] how soon is he getting it done and you get results?
Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
Pbn - thanks for your encouragement and advice :) Yes - you're right... With our BFP cycle in August, DH released on the morning I got a solid smiley, and then 14 hours later we had our attempt. So I know it's possible for us to get pregnant w/ him releasing less than 24 hours before our attempt. Maybe we'll just do that again. I asked him today if he thought he could release & then attempt in less than a 6 hour period and he's not sure he can - he actually doesn't have that high of a libido which is why I'm kind of surprised at how good his sperm count is!! He's definitely not a high libido, high testosterone guy.
BBB I know the internet can be such a terrible thing for one's mental sanity sometimes!!! :) :) :)
Greydore I know you said cm changed cd16 but maybe you geared up to o but didn't release until cd19 making you only 9dpo? Both scenarios are possible I guess and its more waiting now to see... how long is your lp usually or cycle length if your unsure of lp?
Abc I def wouldn't push for a release so close to an attempt as you run the true risk of dh not being able to perform/release in you right when it counts and it would be devastating to have this happen your fiest cycle on clomid. I wouldn't ask him to release any earlier than morning of solid smiley. By that evening you'd have alot more chance of a successful attempt especially considering his low libido. If he feels pressured about releasing and dtd it may even affect his libido even more negatively....
Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk
Pbn that's definitely possible. My cycles are fairly regular, 29-31 days, sometimes longer. It's nice to have someone else take a look, thank you!

Greydore no problem! I love looking at charts and trying to interpret them!
Going to open a November thread now and will post a link as I want to rename the 2ww as both a ttc & 2ww thread which it is! Got a feeling some people may think its exclusively for those in the 2ww and they're missing out on the wonderful support these threads can offer. By all means keep using this one until November actually starts though [emoji3]
