I was really scared in labour with DS2..I was not prepared at all. I really feel when I am prepared for things I do much better. You have time!
Poor little DS....you know they say when little ones are more needy and attached it means girl:)
I am really sorry about your friend. It is incredibly sad and I cannot imagine being in that situation. I guess you do what you can and you only are given what you are able to deal with.

I posted on the other site my complete confusion with when or if I ovulated. It is crazy and stressful. I guess I can keep dtd but I am still hung up on timing...and I started to relax big time with the diet!
DM, do you mind if you tell me how old you are? I ask bc we dtd on cd 13 thinking it was o plus, but now I think it might have been o and then I thought maybe I haven't! So, I wonder if I wait and o tomorrow on cd 16 it would be too late considering my age. I think so! 3.5 day is too far away I guess.

Yes! Cloud 9 for sure!!! I am 29...30 in Feb. I think that a 3 day cut-off would have more to do with your DH's sperm than you;) I have a 40yo hubby and his little swimmers lasted 3 whole days! I'm sure you have a great chance Lemon!!! GL!!! xoxoxoQuote:

Hello to everyone else!
I am getting nervous about birth again too. I am mostly nervous about the pain. I had a great natural birth last time but the labour was so intense near the end! I'm not sure if I'm ready to do it again. Although I felt so high after the birth for weeks - so I can look forward to that, I guess. I love Ina May Gaskin too - she has some great books.
Do you guys think getting the hypnobabies is worth it? I didn't use it last time but it sounds so nice and relaxing!

For me I think AF is coming very soon so that's it for me.
She has a large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of the uterine cervix. They discovered it when her baby was delivered by c-section, though she's now experiencing some nasty symptoms so they likely would have discovered it about now anyway. I'm so in awe of you doing the job you do, just amazing.Quote:

Yes, what time Princess? How are you feeling? I'm already imagining the moment when I find out - and it's so exciting when they say 'it's a girl' and then I have to make sure I play through in my mind them saying 'it's a boy' too! I'll be pleased for the wondering to stop, either way!!
I woke up in the night for a wee (one of several times!) and when I got back in to bed I had a really sore tummy that I just couldn't get rid of. It was fine this morning but I had it again this evening and I've no idea what it is. It's not cramping or round ligament pains, more of an ache or the feeling that I've just been kicked in the stomach. I led down on the sofa this evening when it happened again and I fell straight to sleep :D
Your right it's a rare one, that's one I've never heard of before, been in my job for 8yrs. I hope she does fight the odds to become the 2nd person to recover! There are so so many new types of Carcinoma's, in parts of the body u would never think of having cancer, it's frightening to think about it for too long sometimes..... My boys want everything they see advertised on telly! I like buying for DS3 because he's too little to tell me what he wants and he gets what I would like in my house and what I would like him to play with! DS1 is adamant he wants 'Stinky the Garbage Truck' which I think is too young for him - but we have younger children in the house and they have to share everything anyway. He also has a Kreo Transformer and lots of smaller things. Both the bigger boys love anything Lego or Playmobil - I just ordered a Playmobil advent calendar! DS2 just wants the Imaginext Batcave (I'm so not keen - just looks like a big hunk of grey plastic to me!) and it's out of stock absolutely everywhere. I managed to get the last one off the shelf in the toy shop! I've bought things they don't really want and that I'd probably get anyway just so they have more to unwrap - new duvet covers, a lego storage box, stickers for their bedroom wall etc. and they'll have pants and socks in their stocking because they didn't play with one of their stocking fillers last year!
Well I am in California...so Pacific Standard time.......and my appt is at 11:30am tomorrow morning! Getting closer it is 3:30pm Friday here now.
Z I totally know how you feel with your boys wanting everything they see on TV...my 4yr old is always wanting something he just saw on TV!

As for xmas, Ds1 is my easy one. Being 9 he knows what he would like and thinks about it more. He still believes in Santa (thankfully) and he's such a good kid that really doesn't ask for much, that when he does mention something I know he really does like it. He's asked for Nerf toys and The new Harry Potter dvd box set. Whereas my 5yr old wants EVERYTHING on TV! They aren't really lego lovers, although since we went to legoland they do play more with it. Wish they were as I Loved Lego as a kid and it's great! Ds2 has a Mini micro scooter and was thinking a buying the bigger one as they are so fab!!! but £70 or so!! Great u got the last Batcave! I'm going xmas shopping tom for the boys (pay day today!!!) and over the next week to get it all done. Got most of the neices/nephews, so then just the grandparents to go!
Grandparents are even more difficult than the children! I got them both a photobook of the boys throughout the year but after that I'm stuck!

I have not even started Xmas shopping yet. All of us siblings decided years ago to have it just for kids as far as gift giving...so I really just need to get all the kids in the family stuff. DS1 is a TOTAL lego addict, I got him the Black Pearl a few weeks ago and hid it in the garage....he's got a few other legos on his list but they are smaller. DS2 just turned 6 and he's into everything but he's so hard to shop for cause he really just plays with different things everyday. He's not like DS1 that has almost every set ever made. DS1 has this huge shelf in his room where he proudly displays the hundreds (not exaggerating) of sets he built--yet he plays with them too. DS3-well he's 3 so he's gonna be hard to shop for too cause like DS2 there isn't just something he's into...it changes daily.

major salt fest tonight...I just can't take the sway stress.

lemon - the odd cheat here and there isn't going to hurt your sway and might even help it if it relaxes you. This time around I'm taking it really easy and eating non-diet foods when it's easier to do so. This weekend I'm visiting my Mom, and though I'm managing to keep vegetarian, I'm eating waaaay too much salt and protein (cheese curds - which I can't resist) and have even had a few snacks between meals. Come Monday when I'm home again I'll be back to the rice and pasta with a renewed energy since I've allowed myself a few treats and had a mini diet vacation. The one thing you should watch for since you're in the 2WW, though, is that you keep your blood sugar low - which means try your best not to snack between meals!
Oh, and Princess - I can't wait to hear how your scan went! I hope we hear from you soon!
